    • The contact probe arrangement includes a stack of perforated plates (1, 1a) through which extend a plurality contact probes. The stack of perforated plates consists of two kinds of plates. The first kind forms the lowermost plates (1a). They have circular or square holes permitting a vertical placing of the contact probes onto the contact pads (4) of the device (5) to be tested. The plates (1) of the second kind have oblong, rectangular, square, circular, elliptical or trapezoidal holes (3). With respect to the stacked plates of the second kind, alternate ones are offset against the two other adjacent plates which are aligned relative to each other, in such a manner that each contact probe is surrounded by part of the lower edge of the upper of two adjacent perforated plates, and part of the upper edge of the lower of two adjacent perforated plates. If axial stress is applied, the contact probe can thus not buckle any farther than to a part of the perforation wall limiting its maximum buckling. This ensures a sufficiently low contact resistance between the contact probe and the contact pad of the device to be tested. By using a corresponding number of perforated plates of the second kind the contact probes can adapt to height differences of the contact pads caused by irregularities in the surface of the device to be tested.

    • A light device for vehicles has a housing mountable on a vehicle part and a light adjustably received in the housing. The housing is provided with a region which is curved in an adjustment direction of the light and the light abuts against the region. At least one mounting element extends through the housing and fixes the light so that when the mounting element is released, the light is displaceable inside the housing along the curved region, and a control element is arranged outside of the housing and follows an adjusting movement of the light. The control element is provided with indicating means for indicating an orientation of an optical axis of the light.

    • A suction head or a pick-up roll in a paper machine is mounted on a pivotable lever and is movable therewith between an operative position, an intermediate position at a short distance from the operative position, and a retracted position at a substantial distance from the operative position by two hydraulic cylinder and piston units whose cylinders are articulately connected to the frame and whose piston rods are articulately connected to the lever. The piston rods are rigid with first pistons, and each unit further comprises an annular second piston which surrounds the respective piston rod. Admission of pressurized fluid into a first chamber of each cylinder results in movement of the second pistons from first to second positions to thereby move the lever from operative to intermediate position through the medium of the first pistons and piston rods. The lever is pivoted to retracted position by admitting fluid into a second chamber of each cylinder to thus move the first pistons relative to the second pistons. The lever can be returned to operative position by admitting fluid into a third chamber of each cylinder and by relieving the pressure of fluid in the first chamber so that the first pistons first move relative to and thereupon together with the second pistons.
