    • A rotating machinery is to be provided wherein coils can be wound round a stator core in a minimized state of connected parts. In a rotating machinery comprising a stator formed annularly and a rotor disposed rotatably on the inner periphery side of the stator, the stator comprises a stator core, the stator core having in the circumferential direction a plurality of slots each having a coil inserting portion on the inner periphery side, and coils wound by lap winding within the slots, at least the lap-wound winding portion of the coils in each slot being constituted by a continuous line and wound at a coil end so as to straddle the inner periphery side and the outer periphery side of the slot. According to this construction there is no increase in the number of connected parts even if the number of turns in the winding portion is increased.

    • There is provided, in one aspect of the present description, an internal combustion engine system. In one example, the system comprises a controller configured to control an intake valve closing timing varying mechanism to vary a closing timing of the intake valve to regulate air charged in a combustion chamber in accordance with engine operating conditions and, in a first engine operating condition where a least volume of air is required to be charged into the combustion chamber, retard a closing timing of the intake valve to a most retarded crank angle which is after bottom dead center during a cylinder cycle and satisfies the following formulas: α≧−0.2685×ε02+10.723×ε0+15.815 and ε0≧11.0, where α is the most retarded crank angle and ε0 is a geometric compression ratio of the engine.

A feed for fish farming characterized by consisting of an outer layer constructed from a heat-induced gel which comprises a protein and/or a starch, and an inner layer comprising a composition which contains nutrient ingredients having fish meal and an oil as essential ingredients. As the protein, surimi, ground fish meat, krill, gelatin, collagen, gluten, egg albumen and soy bean protein are preferred. As the starch, tapioca starch, wheat starch, potato starch, corn starch, bean starch, waxy corn starch and processed products of these starches are preferred.
