摘要： A high speed machining controller comprises an acoustic emission sensor which is installed in or near a machine for machining a work piece in a high speed and which detects acoustic emission generated during machining a work piece; a signal processing means which is composed of a band-pass filter for passing an element of a frequency band corresponding to the acoustic emission by inputting a signal outputted from the acoustic emission sensor, a rectification circuit for rectifying a signal outputted from said band-pass filter, a peak detection circuit for detecting peak values of the signal outputted from the rectification circuit, and a smoothing circuit for smoothing output signals of said peak detection circuit and for outputting a signal corresponding to the amplitude of the acoustic emission for the purpose of processing the output signal of the acoustic emission sensor to detect its amplitude; a cutting condition discrimination means for judging the cutting condition of a work piece by comparing a detected amplitude of the acoustic emission with a predetermined discrimination value for discriminating the cutting condition of said work piece; and a control means to instruct and control the machining condition including at least the feed speed of a machine tool on the basis of the cutting condition of the work piece.

摘要： A method of and apparatus for controlling forming press conditions aids in maintaining stability in a mechanical double action press forming provided with an upper die (inner) and an outer ram (outer). These dies are driven independently wherein press conditions related to the forming process, such as a hydraulic pressure and pneumatic pressure, are automatically corrected by feedback so as to be maintained to preset values corresponding to the change of the inner stroke during the forming process. Abnormal operation can also be detected and corrected immediately by detecting the change of the press conditions during the forming process continuously or intermittently.

摘要： It is profitable to oscillate a beam on objects when a high power CO.sub.2 laser beam or a high power YAG laser beam welds or anneals the objects. In order to let a laser beam scan, a device for reciprocating a lens or a device for rotating two mirrors synchronously has been proposed. These devices suffer from the difficulty of cooling. Prior devices are not applicable to a high power laser. A parallel laser beam is first reflected by a parabolic mirror. Then a mirror which is reciprocally swaying by a galvanometer reflects the beam toward the objects. A water inlet and an outlet are mounted on a rear surface of the swaying mirror. Cooling water is carried out through coiled tubes. Excellent heat diffusion prevents the galvanometer from malfunction.
