    • An anticorrosion sleeve including a resin sleeve and a metal sleeve tightly received in the resin sleeve. The metal sleeve has a gradually expanding outer diameter thereof toward one circular edge thereof in a tapered shape in cross section so that the metal sleeve expands the resin sleeve in diameter when the metal sleeve is inserted into the resin sleeve. The resin sleeve includes a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion. The metal sleeve includes an engagement end portion, an intermediate portion, and a tapered end portion in that order. The outer circumference of the engagement end portion of the metal sleeve is engaged beforehand with a step between the inner circumferences of the large-diameter portion and the small-diameter portion of the resin sleeve.

    • A storage compartment for loading and unloading batteries of varying sizes efficiently. The storage compartment is internally equipped with a position regulating plate part on a ceiling part, an ejection urging part, a thickness judging part, and a contact point part on an end surface at the back side. The position regulating plate part is equipped with rotatable position regulating plates urged to protrude vertically into the storage compartment. When a battery is inserted, the position regulating plates guide the battery and cause it to be pressed to a bottom surface part of the storage compartment. Any one of the position regulating plates that does not abut the battery opposes the battery in a perpendicular direction and prohibits movement of the battery in the thickness direction.

The autofocus camera has a motor-drive control circuit arranged to close the shutter prior to a photographing operation, move the mirror from the view position to the exposure position, cause the shutter to be opened and closed for exposure of the film, cause the film to be wound immediately after completion of the operation of the shutter, move the mirror from the exposure position to the view position, cause the shutter to be opened after the winding of the film has temporarily been stopped, and restart the winding of the film.

    • A lockup control system for a torque converter with a directly coupled clutch is disclosed. A gear ratio of the torque converter is detected as is a throttle valve opening. A gear ratio data (as a reference data) which is previously assigned to a throttle valve opening is read from ROM, and is compared against the detected gear ratio. If the latter is equal to or greater than the former, a lockup command is provided, and a prevailing vehicle speed is written into a register. When a lockup condition is established, the current vehicle speed is compared against the vehicle speed stored in the register, and whenever the former becomes equal to or less than the latter from which .DELTA.V is subtracted, the lockup is terminated. Reference data is provided in three groups corresponding to three temperature regions of the torque converter. A group corresponding to the actual temperature of the torque converter is selected, and reference data in the group which corresponds to a particular throttle opening is read from ROM. .DELTA.V is a function of the throttle opening, and assumes a smaller value for an increased throttle opening and assumes a greater value for a reduced throttle opening.
