    • An extension pipe for a vacuum cleaner, for providing a sealed channel between a cleaner body and a suction brush and having a joint that includes a bendable part in accordance with a user's desire, comprising a first extension pipe, a second extension pipe pivotably connected to the first extension pipe, and a resilient locking member disposed adjacent the first extension pipe to be resiliently deformed by sliding movement thereof and having a locking protrusion to selectively engage one of a plurality of locking recesses formed in the first extension pipe, thereby selectively restraining pivotal movement of the first and the second extension pipes relative to each other. A joint cover connected to one side of the second extension pipe may pivot together with the second extension pipe to seal the connection joint. In a second embodiment, a release handle is connected to a pair of locking members, each having a locking protrusion to selectively engage one of a plurality of locking recesses.
