摘要： A process for the production of hydrochloric acid and neutralized sulfates comprising: reacting sulfuric acid with an alkaline metal chloride in order to obtain a liquor containing hydrochloric acid, an acid alkaline metal sulfate and an excess of sulfuric acid; separating the hydrochloric acid from the liquor containing the hydrochloric acid, the acid alkaline metal sulfate and the excess of sulfuric acid; neutralizing the acid alkaline metal sulfate and the excess sulfuric acid by adding to the remaining liquor after the separation of the hydrochloric acid a neutralizing agent to obtain a neutralized mass; cooling the neutralized mass to crystallize the neutralized alkaline metal sulfate and obtain neutralized alkaline metal sulfate crystals; and separating the neutralized alkaline metal sulfate crystals from the liquor.

Additionally, the process of the present invention includes mechanisms that allow some of the by products generated by some of the reactions such as gypsum, to adsorb crystallization water and reduce the humidity of the mass without using external energy.

摘要： A process for the treatment of sludge which produces a dry sludge free of pathogenic and non-pathogenic microorganisms enriched with nitrogen which can be used as a fertilizer, and which uses as raw materials: elemental sulfur, formaldehyde, ammonia, urea, chlorine, and sulphuric acid, and comprises the steps of feeding the sludge into a pre-dryer into which is fed a hot gas stream containing sulfur trioxide produced by the combustion and catalytic oxidation of sulfur with air and finally completely drying the sludge by feeding it into an ammoniator.
