摘要： A reusable, sanitary and folding container includes a base, two folding sidewalls, two folding end walls and latches and hinges. The base includes slots that receive the hinge pins that allow the sidewalls and end walls to fold up and down. These hinge slots are open and provide for water or spray through them during the cleaning process of a container after it has been used. The container is formed of a resilient, but light polyurethane/fiber composite material.

摘要： A shipping container following the teachings of the present invention is made by an insert molding process. The walls and bottom are each formed with structural portions that form a frame and any necessary cross bracing. A fabric covers any opening between structural portions. The fabric is placed in a mold that defines a cavity shaped like the structural portions, and thereafter a thermoplastic resin in injected. The resin intimately penetrates the fabric fibers to hold the fabric in place. The fabric may have holes formed in it to enhance the penetration of the resin. A wide variety of fabric and resins may be used.

摘要： A collapsible box has hinges which are vertically staggered to permit the box to collapse into a relatively flat configuration for easy stacking and transport. When the box is erected, interlocking features on the edges of the sides of thus box interengage to hold the box in a vertical configuration. A peripheral groove is provided to receive a shipping strap. The walls of the box are hinged to the bottom of the box in such a way that the walls may pivot inwardly to collapse the box as well as outwardly to permit easy cleaning of the inner surfaces of the box walls.
