摘要： A dual combustion fastener device implements a first combustion event, contained in a first combustion chamber portion to compress a combustible fuel/air mixture contained in a second combustion chamber portion, which is separated from the first combustion chamber portion by a piston including a driver for driving a fastener disposed in the driver's path of travel into a workpiece, in order to generally provide rapid driving power for securing a fastener disposed in a nose guide of the combustion fastener. Ignition of the second combustion event may be timed so that the second combustion event substantially occurs when the piston has achieved top dead center or the maximum compression of the combustible material in the second combustion chamber portion. Utilization of compressed combustible material may allow for the utilization of a piston having a small cross-sectional area in comparison to a typical combustion device while providing equal or greater driving force in a rapid manner.

摘要： A power cutting tool, such as a table saw, comprising a sensing system for detecting certain conditions with respect to an exposed blade of the power cutting tool is disclosed. Several embodiments of the sensing system comprise at least one sensor located above the blade and positioned to (1) monitor one or more volume zones adjacent the blade, (2) detect when an object enters one or more of the zones, and (3) trigger a reaction system in response to the detection. Another embodiment uses an optical sensor to measure the height of objects approaching the blade to detect an increase in the height beyond a predetermined threshold. Still another embodiment uses an optical distance sensor to detect the occurrence of a work piece lifting from the table top which can indicate that a kick-back condition is imminent. The reaction system can be triggered when such a condition is detected.

The mask portion also includes a jaw portion extending from each of the temple portions and adapted to substantially shield at least the athlete's lower jaw. The jaw portion includes a front portion which defines an opening sized to permit frontal viewing of the athlete's mouth.

摘要： A canopy assembly for an aircraft includes a forward canopy panel and a rear canopy panel carried by a support frame. The canopy panels are mounted on the support frame by buttstraps. The bottom edges of the forward canopy panel and the rear canopy panel are set in a bed of sealing compound. A bed of a release agent prevents adhesion between the front part of the forward canopy panel and the bed.The canopy panels are attached to one another at a central region by internal and external buttstraps. The adjacent parts of the panels are contained in beds of sealing compound, and a release agent is applied to said adjacent parts. The rear edge of the canopy panel and the front edge of the canopy panel are scalloped adjacent each clamping bolt.In the event of a birdstrike the forward canopy panel deforms and moves locally rearwardly with respect to the aircraft fuselage. The central buttstraps may also move locally rearwardly with respect to the aircraft fuselage and rear panel.
