    • The instant invention relates to an aqueous paint composition comprising a mixture of: (1) an aqueous paint; (2) a colloidal dispersion of a cerium compound, said dispersion having a pH of at least 5, and comprising a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer (i) obtained by polymerizing at least one monomer (I), corresponding to the following: (I): ethylenically unsaturated, linear or branched, aliphatic, cyclic or aromatic monocarboxylic or polycarboxylic acid, or anhydride; and, optionally, a monomer corresponding to II): a polyoxyalkylenated ester of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid; and (3) a base.The instant invention also relates to paints and varnishes containing said composition.

    • The invention relates to an aqueous paint composition comprising a mixture containing: (1) an aqueous paint; (2) a colloidal dispersion of a cerium compound, having a pH of at least 5 and comprising a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer (i) which is obtained following the polymerisation of at least one monomer (I) corresponding to (I) an ethylenically-unsaturated, aliphatic, cyclic or aromatic, linear or branched monocarboxylic or polycarboxylic anhydride or acid and, optionally, a monomer corresponding to (II) a polyoxyalkylene ester of an ethylenically-unsaturated carboxylic acid; and (3) a base. The invention also relates to paints and varnishes containing said composition.

    • Techniques to manage transitions between private and public wireless networks for wireless devices are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may comprise a logic circuit and a memory unit. The apparatus may further include connection logic operative on the logic circuit to attempt a network connection by: retrieving a first access location value from the memory unit when attempting a network connection from the apparatus; retrieving a stored internal probe link from the memory unit when the access location value is internal; retrieving a stored external probe link from the memory unit when the access location value is external; attempting to connect to a network site referenced by the retrieved probe link; and connecting to a final location via the network site when the connection attempt to the network site is successful. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
