    • An automatic ice maker for saving an ice making time. The automatic ice maker has a U-shaped resonator filled up with an inertia gas, a pair of ice trays attached to both ends of the U-shaped resonator in a reverse direction to each other, a pair of speakers attached to both ends of the U-shaped resonator for compressing and expanding parcels of the inertia gas by applying an acoustic pressure to the U-shaped resonator thereby varying a temperature distribution in the U-shaped resonator, a pair of heat exchangers for transferring an inner temperature of the U-shaped resonator to the ice trays, a reversible motor for driving the U-shaped resonator in a forward or a reverse direction at an angle of 180 degrees, and an electric control unit for sequentially operating the speakers and the reversible motor. The automatic ice maker can be adopted to a refrigerator or other refrigeration system. By the automatic ice maker, the ice making time can be saved and the productivity in making the ice increases.

    • Integrated circuit test systems include an input driver having an output terminal that is connected to a test system port and a biasing device that is connected between the test system port and a reference voltage. The biasing device comprises a Thévenin equivalent circuit that is represented by an impedance element and a nonzero power source. The impedance element may be used to match the impedance of a device under test, which can reduce distortion in signals passed between the device under test and the test system. Furthermore, the power source may be used to provide direct current (DC) signals at the pins of a device under test, which can allow the swing height (e.g., amplitude or magnitude) of the test signals to be reduced. That is, the test signals are superimposed upon the DC voltages to allow “high” and “low” logic levels to be manifested via relatively minor swings in the test signals. By reducing the swing height of the test signals, transmission speed can be improved thereby reducing round trip signal delay.

    • A refrigerator which can supply water from a household water supply system into an ice tray, or alternatively, can supply water from a separate water tank into the ice tray. The refrigerator has a housing having a refrigerating chamber, a freezing chamber, and an evaporator chamber which is disposed at a rear portion of the freezing chamber, an ice tray disposed in the freezing chamber, a motor assembly for rotating the ice tray when a liquid filled in the ice tray is frozen, a valve box installed on an upper surface of the housing for receiving the liquid from a household water supply system or from a liquid tank, a fluid path for guiding the liquid from the valve box to the ice tray, a rotating fan assembly for detecting an amount of the liquid flowed into the ice tray, a solenoid valve assembly for adjusting the amount of the liquid being supplied into the ice tray, and an electric control unit for operating the solenoid valve assembly based on an electric signal inputted from the rotating fan assembly.
