    • A liquid crystal display having photo-sensing input mechanism includes a first gate line for transmitting a first gate signal, a second gate line for transmitting a second gate signal, a data line for transmitting a data signal, a pixel unit for outputting an image signal according to the first gate signal and the data signal, a readout line for transmitting a readout signal, a photo-sensing input unit and a driving adjustment unit. The photo-sensing input unit is utilized for generating a sensing voltage according to a driving voltage and an incident light signal, and is further utilized for outputting the readout signal according to the sensing voltage and the first gate signal. The driving adjustment unit is employed to provide the driving voltage according to the second gate signal and the incident light signal.

    • The present invention relates to a multi-channel touch panel. In one embodiment, the multi-channel touch panel includes a plurality of driving electrodes spatial-separately arranged in the form of a matrix, a plurality of sensing electrodes associated with the plurality of driving electrodes such that each sensing electrode is surrounded by a corresponding driving electrode, N driving lines spatial-separately arranged along a row direction and M pairs of sensing lines spatial-separately arranged crossing over the N driving lines along a column direction, where each driving electrode in the row of the electrode matrix is electrically connected to each other by a corresponding driving line, and each odd sensing electrode in a column of the electrode matrix is electrically connected to each other by a first sensing line of the corresponding paired sensing lines, and each even sensing electrode in the column of the electrode matrix is electrically connected to each other by a second sensing line of the corresponding paired sensing lines.

The layout includes (1) a polysilicon on a substrate having a L-shaped or a snake shaped from top-view, which has a heavily doped source region, a first lightly doped region, a first gate channel, a second lightly doped region, a second gate channel, a third lightly doped region and a heavily doped drain region formed in order therein; (2) a gate oxide layer formed on the polysilicon layer and the substrate, (3) a gate metal layer then formed on the gate oxide layer having a scanning line and an extension portion with a L-shaped or an I-shaped. The gate metal intersects with the polysilicon layer thereto define the forgoing gate channels. Among of gate channels, at least one is along the signal line, which is connected to the source region through a source contact.
