摘要： Light-trapping members are cut out of a ribbon consisting of a base fabric and piles. The piles of the ribbon are pressed against the peripheral surface of a thermal drum to be inclined in the width direction after the ribbon is passed through and twisted by a twister disposed close to the thermal drum. The light-trapping members with inclined piles are attached to a film passage mouth of a self-advancing-type photographic film cassette with the inclination of the piles directed to the outside of the film passage mouth, so that the leading end of a photographic film can be advanced smoothly by rotation of a spool through the light-trapping members to the outside of the cassette.

摘要： A photographic film cartridge includes a light-shielding cloth. The light-shielding cloth is subjected to napping with a coarse napping machine and then napping with a fine napping machine. The napping machines have napper rollers including a pile roller and a counter roller. The rotational speed of the pile roller of the fine napping machine is higher than that of the pile roller of the coarse napping machine, and the rotational speed of the counter roller of the coarse napping machine is higher than that of the counter roller of the fine napping machine. The napping is carried out so that the cloth thickness obtained by the fine napping machine is less than the cloth thickness obtained by the coarse napping machine. A further napping is carried out using the fine napping machine so that the cloth thickness is greater than that obtained by the coarse napping machine.

An outlet slit is formed in the pack case, for exiting an exposed one of the photo film units therethrough. A light-shielding flap has a substantially quadrilateral shape, for closing the outlet slit in a light-tight manner. The light-shielding flap has first, second and third predetermined adhering regions, at least which are coated with adhesive agent and attached to the pack case. The light-shielding flap has first and second longer side lines and first and second shorter side lines. The first adhering region has a linear shape and extends along the first longer side line. The second and third adhering regions have a dot shape, and are disposed respectively at the first and second shorter side lines. The outlet slit is disposed between the second and third adhering regions.

摘要： In manufacturing a photo film cassette, a disk producing apparatus includes a web supplier which conveys the web from a web roll to the web conveyor. The web conveyor includes two chains which convey the web in an intermittent fashion, and which include pointed portions which serially penetrate an edge portion of the web. A heater disposed upstream from the web conveyor heats the edges of the web. At the heating/forming unit, a heating plate is lowered toward the web at the same time as the female mold is raised toward the web, and the web is squeezed between them before the heating and vacuum/air pressure forming takes. Clampers/coolers disposed upstream and downstream from the heating plate and female mold squeeze the web in fixed fashion to prevent wrinkles on the web. A web/sheet cutter device includes an upper punch above the web and a lower die under the web, which squeeze the web, and cut the web into a sheet having a plurality of disk-like portions. The web is then wound by the web winder and reused later. The sheet cut from the web is separated from the web by a knockout device incorporated in the upper punch, dropped down through the lower die, and stacked on a sheet stacking container disposed on a movable bottom plate.

摘要： A pair of teremps of a knitted structure are bonded to a blank of a shell plate of a film cartridge. A pair of teremps in continuous lengths is conveyed in the longitudinal direction thereof with the piled side of each of the teremps kept in contact with a locator member. The teremps in continuous lengths are bonded to opposite side edges of the blank and then cut to conform to the blank. Before they are brought into contact with the locator members, the teremps in continuous lengths are subjected to a process in which the pile is substantially uniformly oriented rearward at an angle with respect to the direction in which the teremps are conveyed.

摘要： Light shielding cloths excellent in light-shielding ability, and film drawing resistance are obtained by increasing the pile yarn density in accordance with a special formula, by passing pile yarns between the needle loop and the sinker loop of the ground fabric or by using a combination of regular yarn and special yarn. The contamination of the film by the thermobleeding of the dye is prevented by using a particular dye. The generation of static marks is also prevented by treating the light-shielding cloth comprising synthetic fiber with a special antistatic agent or treatment.

摘要： A photographic film cassette containing of a photographic film whose leading end is initially positioned in a cassette shell and advanced through a film passageway out of the cassette shell by rotation of a spool. Light-trapping members are attached to upper and lower surfaces of the film passageway. After assembling the photographic film cassette, and before loading it into a camera, the leading end is advanced through the film passageway out of the cassette shell and returned to an inside of the cassette shell so that tips of piles of the light-trapping members are arranged so as to push against each other with tips thereof inclined in a film moving direction. In a preferred embodiment, a sheet member is inserted into and drawn from a film passageway to arrange the piles so as to make them incline in a film advancing direction.
