摘要： Small-sized pressure vessels made of sheet metal which are suitable for the storage and carriage of pressurized liquid, pressurized gas and the like are provided herein, and also the method of manufacturing these pressure vessels which comprises in combination a process in which two cup-shaped pieces made of sheet metal are fitted, or a jointing ring made of metal or synthetic resin is fitted to the open end of one of both cup-shaped pieces along its inner or outer circumferential surface, and hot-melting type adhesives are applied to the jointing surface of each cup-shaped piece to which the jointing ring is attached and the jointing ring itself or the open end of the other cup-shaped piece. Also both cup-shaped pieces may be butted or fitted in their open ends in which, for example, one cup-shaped piece which has the jointing ring fitted thereto and the other cup-shaped piece are heated to 120.degree. C.-250.degree. C. to melt the adhesives and are then cooled to solidify the adhesives.

摘要： There is obtained a lubricating oil having good solubility with both HFC refrigerant and contaminants by adding PAG having a viscosity of not more than 70 cSt (40° C.) to a synthetic lubricating oil, such as polyvinyl ether and ester oils at an amount of not less than 0.1 wt % and not more than 20 wt % (desirably, not less than 20 wt % and not more than 10 wt %). Therefore, in a refrigerating/air-conditioning machine equipped with a compressor using this present lubricating oil together with a HFC refrigerant as a working fluid, deflection in the ratio of the mixture within the machines is not caused and, consequently, the efficiency for washing capillary tubes is not reduced. In that case, a high-reliable refrigerating/air-conditioning machine can be obtained at a low price without any modification of the refrigerating/air-conditioning machine.

摘要： A swash plate type compressor is disclosed which is intended to prevent a hemispherical shoe, provided between the piston and the swash plate, from being spun on slat surface of the swash plate during operation of the compressor. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the swash plate is formed with a step and the shoe with a cut portion engageable with the step so that the shoe is prevented from being spun on the slant surface of the swash plate which provides a turning moment to the shoe. The step is formed by an annular projection having an annular wall portion defining the inner limit of the slant surface area of the swash plate with which the flat face of the hemispherical shoe is kept in sliding contact, and the cut portion of the shoe has a curved surface conforming to the curvature of the annular wall portion. The shoe is located with its cut portion slidably contactable with the annular wall portion.
