    • A double gong bell has an outer gong and an inner gong separately arranged to accommodate the inner gong within the space defined by the inner surface of the outer gong. In one embodiment at least two hammer driving members, disposed within the space defined by the inner surface of the outer gong and slidably supported within a mounting means are adapted for reciprocal movement upon the action of a hammer driving means. The ends of the hammer driving members closest to the gongs are attached to a first resilient member and a hammer. A pair of second resilient members attached to the hammer driving members and the mounting means are biased to urge the hammers to strike the inner and outer gongs upon the action of the hammer driving means generating a bell sound having composite tone colors.

A flow adjusting groove that is extending in a circumferential direction around an outer periphery of the valve rod from a position of the first hole opening is formed, and the flow adjusting groove is formed such that a groove width gradually narrows toward a tip end side and the groove depth gradually shallows at the same time, so that the valve opening extent is adjusted along with rotating operation of the valve rod.

    • An alarm device capable of producing an audible as well as a visual alarm is disclosed. The alarm device comprises a gong, a DC motor of a commutator type and a hammer operatively connected to an output shaft of the motor for striking the gong. The alarm device further comprises a high-voltage generating circuit connected to the motor, a flash tube and an exciter circuit for the tube. When a DC power is supplied to the motor to strike the gong by the hammer, the high-voltage circuit generates a high voltage in accordance with a square-wave current which flows through the motor. The exciter circuit is energized by the high voltage and excites the flash tube to thereby produce flashes of light.
