摘要： In peeling off, from a coating surface, temporarily protecting coating films formed by applying a protecting coating material onto the coating surface after completion of the coating, high-pressure water is jetted toward between the coating surface and end edges of the temporarily protecting coating films to peel off the end edges from the coating surface. Then, the high-pressure water is jetted sequentially to between the coating surface and peeled-off portions of the temporarily protecting coating films from the coating surface to peel off the entire temporarily protecting coating films from the coating surface. Thus, the temporarily protecting coating films can be easily peeled off without being influenced by the temperature of an environment, leading to a shortened peeling-off time.

摘要： A strippable paint is poured down onto coated surfaces 1, 2 and 3 of an automobile V within regions to be protected, from a plurality of nozzles 10 disposed in parallel in a widthwise direction of the automobile V above the coated surfaces 1, 2 and 3 of the automobile V, while controlling the number of nozzles which are used to discharge the strippable paint, in accordance with the extent of the regions to be protected. Thereafter, the strippable paint is spread over an entirety of the coated surfaces 1, 2 and 3 in the regions to be protected. Thus, the region covered by each of the nozzles can be relatively reduced to efficiently carry out the pouring-down of the strippable paint and to prevent dusts of a coating material from being scattered to a wide range. In addition, the need for a masking step and/or an inspecting/correcting step can be eliminated to reduce the operating steps and further to alleviate the operational load.

The acrylic copolymer emulsion mixture (b) contains ethylenically unsaturated vinyl monomers having acid value in a total amount of 0.5-1.0% by weight, and (c) at least one of the acrylic copolymer emulsions is an acrylic copolymer which has been polymerized by use of a reactive surfactant, and (d) the particle size of the acrylic copolymer emulsions is not more than 200 nm.

摘要： A coating nozzle (3) movable in a horizontal direction perpendicular to an advancing direction of a vehicle body (1) drops or trickles a strippable paint linearly along one side of the periphery of an area to be protected, and an air blow-off unit (4) blows off air (F) at a predetermined angle against a surface to which the strippable paint is applied, whereby the strippable paint is spread over the area to be protected, and when the thus spread strippable paint becomes dry, it forms a protective film. The strippable paint is prevented from adhering to a portion other than the area to be protected, and the protective film of strippable paint has a uniform thickness.
