The invention is characterized in that a portion of the antiblocking agent is conveyed to the dried powder stream, as long as it is still suspended in the stream of gas, or the remainder of the antiblocking agent is added to the dried powder.

The redispersible polymers are suitable for use in construction materials and coatings, and exhibit higher water resistance than similar polymers stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol as a colloidal stabilizer.
