摘要： A piston for a hydraulic brake configured as a bowl, open on one side, with a longitudinal axis, a wall and a bottom, and is delimited on an open end face by a rim with an axial abutment surface which is movable into abutment on a brake pad.The bottom has an essentially plane outside surface, a wall thickness of the bottom is thicker than a minimum wall thickness of the wall, and at a transition area between bottom and wall, a wall thickness of the wall is continuously increasing towards the bottom, thus, the wall passing over into the bottom in a slope. Furthermore, a method including forming a disc-shaped round blank into a bowl-type hollow cylinder, and upsetting the hollow cylinder in its longitudinal axis so that the bottom material is thickened due to the upsetting operation.

摘要： A cast-aluminum floating caliper of a floating-caliper spot-type disc brake is reinforced by means of reinforcing elements of a high-tensile material. In accordance with one embodiment of this invention the floating caliper is provided with recesses in an area adjacent the brake disc and the brake shoes. Bolts extend through the recesses in the direct vicinity of the radially outside brake disc edge. Commercially available steel bolts preferably are used. These measures optimize the floating caliper weight, stiffness and manufacturing cost.

摘要： Disclosed is a spot-type disc brake (1) having a spring assembly (10, 20) for active adjustment of a clearance between a brake lining (4) and a brake disc. A spring assembly (10, 20) of this type ensures that the brake linings (4) are appropriately lifted from the brake disc after brake application is completed. In this arrangement, the spot-type disc brake (1) includes a brake caliper (3) straddling a brake disc, at least one brake lining (4) displaceably arranged in relation to the brake caliper (3), at least one actuating device (5) arranged in the brake caliper (3) for exerting an application force on the brake lining (4), and a spring assembly (10, 20) which is detachably fastened in the spot-type disc brake (1). The spring assembly (10, 20) includes a spring element (11, 21) which is at least radially and axially supported on the brake caliper (3) and includes a spring clip (12, 22) connected to the spring element (11, 21) and being detachably fastened at the brake lining (4) by way of two spring arms (13, 23). A spring arrangement (10, 20) of this type allows adjusting a constant clearance and can be easily mounted in addition.
