    • A female terminal fitting (20) has a main portion (21) that can be inserted into a cavity. An engaging portion (50) for engaging a lock (17) in the cavity is folded back from the front of the main portion (21). Thus, the leading end of the lock (17) intrudes at the inner side of the slanted surface (53) to prevent the lock (17) from escaping.

    • A terminal fitting (20) is formed with a jig contact portions (24) with which a pushing jig (30) is to be brought to contact. The jig contact portion (24) are provided with a loose movement restricting function for restricting a loose movement of the terminal fitting (20) in a cavity (11) in a direction intersecting with an inserting direction of the terminal fitting (20) by coming into contact with a ceiling wall (11A) of the cavity (11). Since the jig contact portions (24) also have the loose movement restricting function, it is not necessary to form a loose movement-restricting portion separately from the jig contact portion (24). This enables an avoidance of a complicated shape and an enlarged size of the entire terminal fitting (20).

    • For testing of a device under test, an AC measurement voltable application circuit is provided wherein voltages to be applied to the device can be switched during measurement operation without using a separate circuit for a high voltage generation. Data for voltages to be applied to the device are written in respective addresses of a memory in a pattern synchronizing control circuit. This pattern synchronizing control circuit is synchronized with a signal generator and, by inputting mode register setting signal depending on whether the measurement is AC or DC measurement, a relay control circuit for a pin driver circuit is controlled and the application value data in the memory are inputted into a DC measurement unit so as to apply a voltage to the device.
