摘要： A bulk lint storage system supported by a top panel of a dryer. The storage system includes a elongated lint tray connected to the top panel and having an inlet port at one end for receiving lint laden air and an outlet port. A lid is hingedly connected to the lint tray and can be positioned in an open or closed position. A lint basket having an inlet opening and a plurality of screened outlet openings is slidingly supported on support rails extending from the lid. When the lid is closed the inlet opening of the lint basket aligns with the inlet port of the lint tray wherein lint laden air is supplied into the lint basket. When the lid is positioned in an open position, the lint basket is slidingly removable from the support rails such that accumulated lint may be cleaned therefrom.

摘要： A lint enclosure system for a laundry dryer including an elongated lint basket supported beneath a lid. The lint basket is formed from a filter wall having a first end wall and a second end wall disposed at opposite ends. The filter wall has a generally U-shaped cross-section. An inlet opening is formed into the first end wall and a plurality of outlet openings are formed into the filter wall. The outlet openings are configured to cover successively greater portions of the filter wall at successive linear points between the first wall and the second wall. Lint builds up linearly in the lint basket, accumulating in a linear fashion from the second end wall toward the first end wall. The lid positioned above the lint basket includes a window disposed adjacent the first end wall such that when lint accumulation is visible through the window the basket is substantially full of lint. In this fashion, the window operates as visual signaling means for cleaning the lint from the basket.

摘要： An improved lint handling system for a household laundry dryer is provided. The lint handling system for a laundry dryer has a dryer drum with an exit grill. The lint handling system provides a blower speed increaser to increase airflow in the dryer. The lint handling system also has a lint container and a foreign objects trap connected to the exit grill. Also a lint separator to separate lint from the airflow in the dryer is provided. The lint separator has an input connected to the foreign objects trap and an output connected to the lint container. A laundry dryer having a lint handling system as described is also provided. The lint handling system of the invention also provides a scroll-shaped centrifugal blower housing having a cylindrical base to accept airflow tangentially, a cutoff and a throat region to produce high velocity airflow. The blower housing further has a Helmholtz resonator located in the throat to reduce the acoustic emissions at a blade passage frequency. The lint handling system of the present invention also provides an eyebrow extension of the lint separator to produce a low pressure airflow region.

摘要： A preparative-scale gas chromatographic system has conduits and valves adapted for analysis and collection of low volatility effluent. An injection site is provided for alternately supplying liquid solvent for removing condensed effluent from the system when the flow of effluent is terminated. Conduits are joined within the thermal conductivity detector of the system to prevent condensation at the joint. Conduits are provided with copper jackets which are coupled to sources of thermal energy to prevent condensation within the conduits. A trap filter provides backpressure in the collection system wherein recovery of condensed effluent in the filter is facilitated by the smooth surface of the filter.

摘要： A selective zeolitic adsorbent is prepared by activating a zeolitic composition having at least a portion, preferably at least 50%, of the exchangeable ion capacity occupied by a cation having a charge density of 2.0 or greater, preferably a divalent cation with a charge density of 2.0 or greater, such as calcium or magnesium by thoroughly dehydrating the exchanged zeolite. Additionally, separation ability of the zeolitic adsorbent can be further increased by reacting the thoroughly dehydrated zeolite in an oxidizing atmosphere.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for the selective adsorption and separation of one or more constituents from a gas stream in a gas chromatograph, wherein the gas stream is contacted with a dehydrated chabazite adsorbent having a residual water content of less than 1.5 wt. % and having at least 50% of any exchangeable ion capacity exchanged with a polyvalent metal cation and wherein the dehydrated chabazite has been reacted with an oxidizing atmosphere either during or following dehydration. The process of the present invention both anticipates separation of the constituents due to either a difference in the heats of adsorption of the constituents or a size exclusion effect.
