摘要： An apparatus is disclosed for storing and dispensing pen needles for an injection device, including a case having dispensing and storage ends for dispensing and storing a plurality of pen needles and a plurality of needle cover units, each pen needle having a patient end and a hub for connection to the injection device, and each needle cover unit having a needle-covering portion for covering a patient end and a hub-covering portion for covering a hub. A needle-covering portion covering the needle of one pen needle is coupled with a hub-covering portion covering a hub of another pen needle. Prior to use, a hub-covering portion covering the hub of a pen needle is exposed to an outside at the dispensing end of the case, and subsequent to use, the pen needle is stored in the storage end of the case.

摘要： A hand-powered sanding tool utilizes a rigid sanding plate, such as one made of steel. The sanding plate has a plurality of material removal teeth on at least one side for removing material from a workpiece, such as for sanding a board or a wall. The sanding plate is attached to a handle that is preferably ergonomically designed for ease of use. In preferred embodiments, the sanding plate is attached to the handle such that it may be repeatably removed and attached thereto without affecting performance. Further, in some embodiments, the sanding plate is reversible so as to provide an alternate sanding surface for use.

摘要： A system and method for a patch-like, self-contained substance infusion device which provides one or more substantially hidden patient needles which can be placed in fluid communication with a fluid reservoir subassembly that includes a rigid bladder portion used in conjunction with a non-distensible bladder film, such as a metallized film. Simple removal of an interlock allows a disk, or Belleville spring assembly to apply an essentially even and constant pressure to the contents of the fluid reservoir assembly, and allows the device to then be attached to a skin surface via an adhesive contact surface. A push button activation assembly is provided which can then be used to release and seat one or more spring-loaded patient needles into the skin surface, and establish a fluid communication path between the patient needles and the pressurized fluid reservoir contents thereby delivering an infusion into the skin.

摘要： A locking system for a tape measure includes a locking pad located inside the case in which the coiled tape measure is contained. As the tape is dispensed from its case, the locking pad locks the tape against the inside of the housing. When it is desired to unlock the tape, a force from the side of the tape housing causes the locking pad to lift out of its position in contact with the tape. The tape is then recoiled into the housing.
