摘要： A method and apparatus for an electrical switch assembly generally comprising a snap-action electrical switch disposed in a module frame assembly and connected to electrical contact pins for mating with a contact pin connector. A switch module assembly is connected to the module frame assembly and includes a switch actuator assembly for actuating the snap-action electrical switch. The switch actuator includes a latch spring guide that may be configured for either "alternate" or "momentary" actuation of the snap-action electrical switch and emits audio and tactile switch status indicators perceptible to an operator. The module frame assembly and switch module assembly are releasably connectable to and form an integral unit with a cap base assembly having a cap module with a low power LED illuminatable display visible under extreme ambient lighting conditions for indicating switch status. The integral unit is interlockably receivable in a switch connector module that may include an electrical contact pin socket and is mountable in a bracket.

摘要： An injectable grommet assembly for passing a bundle of insulated electric wires through a bulkhead comprises a pair of assembled shells having complementary grommet and flange segments. The grommet segments form an annular seal chamber which surrounds the bundle of insulated electric wires. A wire clip disposed in this chamber spreads out the bundle of insulated wires so that sealant injected into the chamber also fills spaces between the insulated electric wires. The assembly also includes a gasket for sealing against the face of the bulkhead.

摘要： A grommet assembly has a two-piece grommet comprising a shank and a flange at a rearward end of the shank for locating the shank in a panel aperture. The shank has a rigid projection at one side which is spaced from the flange to form a slot for receiving an edge portion of the panel and pivoting the shank into the aperture. The shank also has a flexible arm opposite the rigid projection which has spaced projections for engaging the backside of the panel when the shank is pivoted into the aperture. The assembly includes a gasket for sealing against the face of the panel and a U-shaped retainer which is mounted on the shank after insertion for securely fastening the grommet assembly to the panel and insuring a good face seal at the gasket.

The circuit assembly comprises circuit elements and a lead frame. The lead frame is formed from a bandolier used to carry the contacts and the circuit elements prior to insertion into the housing. One portion of the lead frame may form a ground plane and may be joined to the conductive housing piece. Bandolier index holes may be used for attaching the ground plane portion to posts on the conductive housing piece. An uncut section of the lead frame may form a bridge for grounding a contact. The lead frame may also be mounted onto a ferrite block.
