    • An embodiment provides a computer implemented method for social profile assessment. The computer implemented method receives a request from a first user for an assessment, and sends questionnaires to a set of assessors for the first user. Upon receiving questionnaires from the set of assessors to form completed questionnaires, the computer implemented method generates an unadjusted social style assessment for the first user. Upon receiving a request from a second user for the social style assessment of the first user, the computer implemented method determines whether there are common assessors between the first user and the second user, and responsive to a determination that there are common assessors between the first user and the second user, generates an adjusted social style assessment for the first user, and returns the adjusted social style assessment for the first user to the second user.

    • The present invention allows multiple devices to be merged into one completed mobile unit. Using “like Velcro” material, user can easily attach and detach a device from the mobile unit. This flexibility allows user to use the selected device individually or as part of the completed mobile unit. For example a cellular telephone can be used as itself or be used in conjunction with the mobile unit while a PDA is attached to the opposing side of the cellular phone. As another example, a PDA can be used in conjunction with the mobile unit with a cellular phone attached to the other side of the mobile unit. The mobile unit helps to organize several devices and allows multiple devices to act as one unit. The completed system can be divided into 3 sections. A clip section consists carbine styled clip or hook like piece that attaches the main body to an anchoring junction. The main body section consists of feature for clip like part and features for attaching the modified devices. The attaching section consists of modified device with feature to attach onto the main body section.

    • Apparatus and method for controlling an injection molding system having a plurality of devices which generate a corresponding plurality of feedback signals includes structure and steps for providing an operator control station which has a display and at least one operator input device. A single, general-purpose computer is coupled to both the operator control panel and the plurality of injection molding devices and functions to perform multiple-tasking control of both the injection molding functions and the operator control functions. The computer preferably performs real-time closed loop control of the plurality of injection molding devices while also processing system feedback signals and operator input signals. Thus, there is no need for the analog signal processor and the programmable logic controller of the prior art. Preferably, the single general purpose computer has local area network and internet connections to allow external control and feedback of the operating parameters of the injection molding system.

    • The present invention relates to a method and a system for preventing mold flash. The method broadly comprises the steps of: introducing a fluid under pressure into a mechanism for applying a clamping force such as the clamping cylinder of a piston-cylinder unit; increasing the pressure of the fluid in the clamping force applying mechanism so as to apply a clamping force to the mold; injecting moldable material into the mold; measuring actual pressure in the clamping force applying mechanism; and determining whether the mold is close to blowing open when the moldable material is injected into the mold using the actual measured pressure in the clamping cylinder. The method further comprises providing an injection unit having an injection cylinder; supplying fluid under pressure to the injection cylinder; measuring the actual injection pressure of the fluid in the injection cylinder; and determining whether the actual injection pressure is below the pressure needed to blow the mold open under existing clamp conditions. The system of the present invention includes a pressure sensor for measuring the actual pressure within the clamping force application mechanism and a controller provided with logic for determining whether the mold is close to blowing open when the moldable material is injected into the mold using the measured actual clamp pressure.
