    • A mobile hard disk drive (HDD) rack includes an inner casing adapted to receive an HDD therein and having a plurality of connectors of different interface specifications to be selectively connected to the HDD. The inner casing includes a first conversion circuit which converts the interface specification of each of the connectors into a predetermined interface specification. An outer casing is adapted to be mounted in a computer to receive the inner casing therein and electrically connect thereto. The outer casing may optionally include a second conversion circuit which converts the predetermined interface specification into a plurality of different interface specifications each having a connector mounted on the outer casing associated therewith so as to allow the computers of different HDD interfaces to be selectively connected thereto. By means of such an arrangement, HDDs of different interfaces may be readily and exchangeably connected to the computers of different HDD interfaces.

    • An inner rack in a mobile rack of a computer has a rack chamber disposed at a central area thereof, a signal conversion circuit board disposed at a rear side thereof with a jut out inner signal connector at an outer side thereof. The inner signal connector provides a control IC for converting a USB interface signal into an IDE interface signal and a power outlet separating from an IDE interface connector at an inner side thereof. Once an IDE interface storage device is placed in and located at the rack chamber and the inner rack is inserted into an outer rack of the mobile rack, the inner signal connector engages with an outer signal connector suitable for IDE and USB interface signals to connect an USB signal of the inner signal connector to an USB signal of the outer signal connector. The IDE interface storage device can provide functions of hot swap and plug and play via a switch control of power on/off.

    • A double interface external box for a computer includes an upper and a lower lid and a control panel. The upper and a lower lid are oppositely joined to each other and form an external box with a storage device being received and fixed therein.     • A replaceable hard disk drive box structure including a box body and a securing seat accommodating the box body. The box body comprises a base, an inner face plate, an upper cover, and a handle. The inner face plate has two outwardly projecting mounting portions for accommodating respective fans. An identification code display is disposed between the mounting portions to allow the user to directly locate the hard disk on the SCSI interface. The outer ends of the inner face plate are respectively provided with coupling portions for connecting the handle. The handle has a projection resembling a quadrant of a circle at either end thereof so that the curvature of the projection of the handle may urge against a rectangular recess at either end of an access of the securing seat when the box body is pulled out, so that the connecting ports of the box body and the securing seat may smoothly disengage, achieving fast and easy installation and removal. A concealed fan is further disposed at the rear end of the securing seat for dissipating the heat of the hard disk. The concealed fan works in cooperation with the fans at the inner face plate to generate a continuous flow of air through the hard disk drive box to ensure a quick and circulation of air to enhance dissipation of heat.
