    • A Hadamard transformer is disclosed which uses memory cells in a digital signal processor for restoring to the original signals at a receiving end from the signals which have been transformed to a Hadamard function sequenced at a transmitting end. The Hadamard transformer using memory cells includes a counter which receives sample data clocks to output counted signals to a memory address generator and to a plurality of adder/subtractors. The plurality of adder/subtractors add and subtract the input signals and the data read from a memory in accordance with the counted signals of the counter so as to write or record the results into the memory. The memory address generator generates memory addresses in accordance with the sample data clock and the counted signals so that the memory can be read and written to. The memory thus stores the data inputted and outputted to and from the plurality of sadder/subtractors in accordance with the memory addresses generated by the memory address generator. A comparitor compares the final output values of the adder/subtractors at each period of the Hadamard function sequence so as to detect the maximum likelihood of a Hadamard function sequence.

    • A system and method for playing a golf game. A user is allotted with an ability value for the golf game, and a swing gauge for determining a movement direction of a ball is adjusted on the basis of the ability value allotted to the user. The golf game is processed by determining a movement direction of a golf ball on the basis of a signal received according to the user's manipulation of the swing gauge, and moving the ball toward the determined movement direction on the basis of a flight distance according to the ability value and the user's manipulation of the swing gauge. A score is yielded on the basis of a final position of the ball according to a shot played by the user and of the number of strokes taken by the user. A result of the golf game is determined according to the score, and ability points capable of adjusting the ability value according to the result of the golf game are selectively allotted to the user. Accordingly, the user can adjust the ability value which influences the user's rate of winning the golf game using the ability points allotted according to the result of the golf game, thereby enhancing the enjoyment of the golf game.

    • A high speed ROM-based Nyquist FIR filter which is capable of enhancing a modulation speed without increasing the operational frequency of the filter by overcoming the problems encountered in the conventional digital modulation ROM-based FIR filter. Therefore, it is possible to increase the modulation speed by the interpolation ratio without increasing the operational frequency of the filter compared to the method of using a conventional FIR filter using one ROM. Accordingly, the high speed ROM-based Nyquist FIR filter according to the present invention is well adaptive to the modulation FIR filter of a broadband digital communication which requires a high speed data processing capability.
