摘要： A burner for disposing of a high pressure and a low pressure stream of gaseous fuel in which the high pressure fuel passes through an air entrainment nozzle to produce an air/fuel mixture. The flow of the mixture is diverted to produce a low pressure zone into which the low pressure fuel flows. In a modification there is a second entrainment nozzle so that the high pressure fuel enters the low pressure fuel so as to assist its flow.

摘要： A flare suitable for use for the disposal of combustible waste gases from marine platforms comprises a fuel chamber having tubes passing through it. The interior of the fuel chamber is connected to the bores of the tubes only by Coanda nozzles. During use of the flare, fuel from the fuel chamber passes via the Coanda nozzles into the tubes and thus surrounding air is entrained into the fuel flow. The combustible mixture thus formed is burned off above the tubes.

摘要： A flare stack burner tip using the Coanda effect, the bore of the Coanda body is used as a feed line for high pressure gas and the Coanda director surface is positioned across the outlet of the high pressure gas line so as to cause entrainment of air into the fuel gas stream. The feature of the invention is a self adjusting slot between the Coanda surface and gas inlet which adjusts itself automatically to the flow rate of high pressure gas so that a substantially constant pressure is maintained.
