摘要： The present disclosure is directed to a process for producing a low gloss metallic color coating composition having a target gloss value. The low gloss metallic color coating composition can be produced from a high gloss metallic color coating composition with the addition of a matting agent. The disclosure is also directed to a coating system using the process. This disclosure is also directed to a method for matching color, flake appearance, and gloss of a coating. The processes, methods and systems of this disclosure are particularly useful for producing a low gloss metallic color coating composition having a target gloss value when the high gloss metallic color coating composition comprises both metallic effect pigments and color pigments.
