    • An object of the present invention is to provide a novel fluorescent protein derived from organisms other than Aequorea victoria. According to the present invention, there is provided a fluorescent protein derived from Galaxea fascicularis, which has the following properties: (1) the molecular weight is approximately 27,000; (2) a tetramer is formed in an equilibration state; (3) the excitation maximum wavelength is 492 nm, and the fluorescence maximum wavelength is 505 nm; (4) the molar absorption coefficient is 74,100; (5) the quantum yield is 0.625; and (6) the pH sensitivity of the fluorescent property is low in the range between pH 5 and pH 12.
    • 本发明的目的是提供一种源自维他命A(Aequorea victoria)以外的生物体的新型荧光蛋白。 根据本发明,提供了一种衍生自Galaxea fascicularis的荧光蛋白,其具有以下性质:(1)分子量约为27,000; (2)在平衡状态下形成四聚体; (3)激发最大波长为492nm,荧光最大波长为505nm; (4)摩尔吸光系数为74,100; (5)量子产率为0.625; 和(6)pH5和pH12之间的荧光性能的pH敏感性低。
