摘要： Methods and systems for determining a mood of a human driver of a vehicle and using the mood for generating a vehicle response, is provided. One example method includes capturing, by a camera of the vehicle, a face of the human driver. The capturing is configured to capture a plurality of images over a period of time, and the plurality of images are analyzed to identify a facial expression and changes in the facial expression of the human driver over the period of time. The method further includes capturing, by a microphone of the vehicle, voice input of the human driver. The voice input is captured over the period of time. The voice input is analyzed to identify a voice profile and changes in the voice profile of the human driver over the period of time. The method processes, by a processor of the vehicle, a combination of the facial expression and the voice profile captured during the period of time to predict the mood of the human driver. The method generates the vehicle response that is responsive to the mood of the human driver. The vehicle response is configured to make at least one adjustment to a setting of the vehicle. The adjustment is selected based on the mood of the human driver. The vehicle response can be used to make the driver more calm and/or assist in reducing distracted driving.

摘要： A computer implemented method is provided. The method includes detecting, by a computer of a charging unit (CU), a connection of a charging connector of the CU to a vehicle charge port of an electric vehicle (EV). The detecting of the connection includes processing a data exchange between electronics of the EV and the computer of the CU. The method includes receiving, by the computer of the CU, charge status of the EV while the charging connector is connected to the CU. The received charge status of the EV changes as charge is provided from the CU to a battery of the EV. The method includes sending a notification by server to a user account that was used to obtain charge for the EV at the CU. The notification provides data for a graphical user interface that shows the charge status of the EV. The method includes receiving instructions from a device associated with the user account, to make payment of a fee or receive a fee charge, to instruct the CU to indicate an in progress or in-use state even when the EV is at a full level of charge while the EV is occupying the CU and is preventing others from access to the CU that is provided for public use of users with user accounts. The method includes sending data by the server to the computer of the CU to display an in progress or in-use state, wherein the server communicates over the internet with the device.

One method includes receiving a first remote request at the vehicle to activate a first level of security. The first level of security activates a first active sensor. The method includes recording an area proximate to vehicle in response to activating the first level of security. The recording produces a media file. The method includes transmitting the media file to Internet storage associated with an account of the user of the vehicle. The method includes setting indicators, such as lighting in and around the vehicle to identify a security level of the vehicle. The lighting can be color illumination, that indicates to a user before the user fully approaches the vehicle if the vehicle has a particular security level, based on prior monitored activity.

One example method includes identifying a vehicle location and determining if the vehicle location is near a self-park location. The method accesses mapping data for the self-park location and receiving a request to initiate a self-park process for the vehicle. The method includes forwarding instructions to the vehicle to proceed with the self-park process. The self-park process acting to control the vehicle to automatically move from a current location to a destination location in the self-park location, and the current location and the destination location are updated dynamically as the current location of the vehicle changes and based on conditions of the destination location. Vehicles can be dropped off, registered for self-parking via a smartphone, and the vehicle moves to an available parking location.

Sending, by the server, validation to the vehicle that the access code received by the vehicle was sent to the portable device, and then the vehicle is configured to send an electronic key to the portable device upon receiving the validation. The electronic key is associated with at least one privilege associated with use of the vehicle, and the at least one privilege is defined based on the access code.

The communications system is configured to provide the computer of the vehicle with wireless communication with a cloud services system that includes a database that stores a user account that identifies the vehicles as registered with the cloud services system. The user account identifies settings for the vehicle and information for notifying a user of the vehicle. The vehicle includes a plurality of sensors associated to sides of the vehicle, such that contact with a specific side of the vehicle is identified using a sensor of the plurality of sensors. The vehicle further includes a plurality of cameras integrated in the vehicle to enable capturing of image data of an area around the vehicle. The computer is configured to receive data from the plurality of sensors of the vehicle to detect a contact with the vehicle and identify a side of the vehicle from which the contact was detected. The computer is configured to send data to the cloud services system which will then send the notification indicating that contact was detected with the vehicle. The cloud services system enables access to additional data and controls, including live feeds of the area around the vehicle.

The system enables establishing a communication link between a computing device associated with the vehicle and a server of the cloud system. The communication link is over a wireless network, and the communication link is established in association with a user account that is managed by the cloud system. The communication link is configured to be established for one or more sessions. Then, receiving, at the server, a plurality of actions associated with inputs made at the vehicle while the vehicle is associated with the user account, the plurality of actions being received during the one or more sessions. The server updates data associated with the user account to identify the plurality of actions at the vehicle and then generates a recommendation to apply a setting at the vehicle. One or more of the plurality of actions for the vehicle made during the one or more sessions are analyzed to identify a pattern that is indicative of a preference for a setting by a user of the vehicle that used the vehicle via the user account. Generating the recommendation to apply the setting occurs upon reaching or exceeding a predefined threshold. The system sends to the user account the recommendation to apply the setting for the vehicle. The computing device enables access to the user account to view and accept the recommendation. The computing device associated with the vehicle enables acceptance of the recommendation, such that acceptance of the recommendations causes an instruction to the vehicle to apply the setting.

Each kiosk is configured to hold one or more rechargeable batteries and dispense batteries to user with user accounts. The system manages inventory at the kiosks, enables payment for use or charges a user's account, enables locating of kiosks with batteries proximate to a user's vehicle location and optionally enables users to reserve batteries. The system provides access to the network of kiosks and information regarding battery availability via applications, such as smartphone applications, tablets, connected commuters and/or computers of a vehicle.

摘要： Electric vehicles that use replaceable and exchangeable batteries, applications for communicating with a service that provides access to kiosks of batteries, and methods and systems for finding charged batteries, reserving batteries, and paying for use of the batteries, are disclosed. One example is a system that includes at least one server that is capable of communication with a plurality of kiosks. Each kiosk is configured to hold one or more rechargeable batteries and dispense batteries to user with user accounts. The system manages inventory at the kiosks, enables payment for use or charges a user's account, enables locating of kiosks with batteries proximate to a user's vehicle location and optionally enables users to reserve batteries. The system provides access to the network of kiosks and information regarding battery availability via applications, such as smartphone applications, tablets, connected commuters and/or computers of a vehicle.
