摘要： A carbon fiber-made reinforcing woven fabric comprising a carbon-fiber woven fabric formed from warps consisting of carbon fibers and wefts consisting of carbon fibers, and auxiliary yarns arranged along at least either warps or wefts, the auxiliary yarns being passed over and under other yarns differently from associated warps or wefts. When prepreg is produced by applying matrix resin to this woven fabric by a wet/prepreg processing method before drying, the presence of auxiliary yarns in gaps in the vicinities of warp-weft intersections on the woven fabric allows matrix resin to remain around auxiliary yarns to produce no apertures in the obtained prepreg, whereby the woven fabric is suitable for a prepreg production by wet/prepreg processing.

摘要： An electronic component placement machine and an electronic component placement method are disclosed. A takeout and transfer head, provided on rotary chip takeout and transfer mechanism, removes a chip from a feeder and flips it. A placement head receives the flipped chip and places it onto a board. An image of the chip at a pre-centering recognition position is captured during a takeout and transfer operation, during which the takeout and transfer head transfers the chip to the placement head at a receiving position, so as to recognize the position. Based on this positional recognition result, the chip and the placement head are positioned by controlling a placement head driving mechanism. Moreover, the takeout and transfer head is rotated to a position which does not hinder image capturing of the electronic component for placement positioning.

摘要： An escape device for aircrafts having a pair of gas bags and a slide member joined to the gas bags. The escape device provides a high resistance to radiation heat and reliable bonding between the sheet members. The sheet member forming the gas bags and the slide member includes a substrate of fabric and covering layers of thermosetting elastomer containing a flame retardant. The sheet members forming the gas bags are bonded together before the covering layer of one of the sheet members hardens completely. A protective layer is provided on the outer surface of the joint portion between the sheet members to reflect radiation heat.

摘要： A method and apparatus is provided for manufacturing a carbon fiber woven fabric by opening and closing a warp sheet formed of carbon fiber warps and by injecting wefts made of carbon fibers by water-jet into the warp sheet when the warp sheet is open. The accumulation of fluffs generated by abrasion between the weft and various guides is reduced by interrupting dispersion of water injected from the nozzle onto the weft as the weft travels from a bobbin to the nozzle, by sucking fluffs from the weft, and/or by causing contact between the weft and fluffs on the surface of the nozzle by loosening the weft, thereby making it possible to conduct a high-speed continuous operation.

摘要： A sunroof assembly includes a housing secured to the inner side of a roof panel to surround an opening, a guide rail attached to each of opposing sides of the housing, a shoe disposed in the guide rail so as to be freely slidable longitudinally of the vehicle, a sliding panel connected to the shoe via a cam member for opening and closing the opening of the roof panel, and a driving source for sliding the shoe along the guide rail longitudinally of the vehicle, wherein a pin provided on the shoe is capable of moving in a cam groove of the cam member. One end of a link is pivotally attached to the pin of the shoe, and the other end is pivotally attached to one end of a lever member. The latter is slidably connected to a bracket, which is secured to the cam member and the sliding panel, so as to be relatively movable longitudinally of the vehicle in operative association with the shoe. When the sliding panel is in a fully closed state with the pin of the shoe at a forward end of the cam groove, the lever member is turned downwardly by a pin implanted in the bracket, so that the lever member is accommodated in a space between the slide channels of the guide rails.
