    • An electrical connector includes a base having a plurality of terminals received therein and defining a first aperture extending therethough, a cover mounted on the base and having a second aperture corresponding to the first aperture and an actuating device actuating the cover moving along the base in a front-to-back direction. The actuating device includes three separated parts called as a rotating shaft define a position rib, an eccentric wheel and a concentric wheel assembled on the rotating shaft from an up-to-down direction. The eccentric wheel used as a cam has a first slot engaging with the position rib. The concentric wheel received in the second aperture has a second slot engaging with the position rib. The eccentric wheel is received in the second aperture to actuate the cover move along the base.

    • The present invention discloses an LED module comprising: a waterproof enclosure; an LED accommodated in the waterproof enclosure; a wire for coupling the LED module with other LED modules and a driver; and a radiating unit set in the bottom of the waterproof enclosure and exposed to the external environment. The invention further provides an LED chain comprising the above said LED module and a driver coupled with the LED module. The LED chain according to the invention may have a high waterproof level, for example, IP65. The heat generated during the operation of the high power LED module may be transmitted to the external environment in time via a heat sink set on the LED module, thereby effective thermal management for the LED module and a long service life of the LED module may be obtained. Moreover, the finish surface of the driver may be made handsome by encapsulating the driver through the low pressure molding.

    • A practical ID nanowire photodetector with high gain that can be controlled by a radial electric field established in the ID nanowire. A ID nanowire photodetector device of the invention includes a nanowire that is individually contacted by electrodes for applying a longitudinal electric field which drives the photocurrent. An intrinsic radial electric field to the nanowire inhibits photo-carrier recombination, thus enhancing the photocurrent response. The invention further provides circuits of ID nanowire photodetectors, with groups of photodetectors addressed by their individual ID nanowires electrode contacts. The invention also provides a method for placement of ID nanostructures, including nanowires, with registration onto a substrate. A substrate is patterned with a material, e.g., photoresist, and trenches are formed in the patterning material at predetermined locations for the placement of ID nanostructures. The ID nanostructures are aligned in a liquid suspension, and then transferred into the trenches from the liquid suspension. Removal of the patterning material places the ID nanostructures in predetermined, registered positions on the substrate.
