    • A bidirectional opening/closing door unit and a refrigerator having the same. The door unit is provided at a side of a body of the refrigerator to open or close the body. The body includes hinges protruding from left and right sides of the body to be coupled with the door unit. The door unit includes a door and an opening/closing device provided at a side of the door. The opening/closing device includes a pair of opening/closing structures detachable to the respective hinges, and an operative connector to be operatively connected to one of the opening/closing structures to limit operation of the other opening/closing structure. With this configuration, the operative connector can achieve smooth movements and maintain a high durability in spite of frequency opening/closing operations and long time use of the door.

    • A portable terminal and a method for displaying an image using focus information are disclosed. An interested area of the captured subject image can be rapidly displayed on the display. The captured subject image can be displayed on the display, according to the features of an interested area image. At least one interested area is extracted from the captured subject image. When one of the extracted interested areas is selected, image information of the captured subject, which includes focus information of the selected interested area, is generated. When requesting that the captured subject image is displayed, an interested area image of the captured subject image is displayed according to focus information of the generated image information.

    • A power conserving circuit is disclosed which has a start-up circuit for initiating operation of a reference voltage generator. Included are a sensing circuit for producing a pulse signal in response to initial application of an external power source; a reference voltage generator for producing a constant reference voltage independent from an external power source voltage; and a start-up circuit for starting operation of the reference voltage generator during an interval of a pulse produced by the sensing circuit. The start-up circuit includes a switch for connecting and disconnecting the external power source to the reference voltage output port, and a voltage reducing element connected between the switch and the reference voltage output port.

    • For enabling burn-in test in a memory device such that a test mode timing signal and detected voltage level of an external power supply are combined in order to maintain compatibility with conventional timing signals, and for preventing the burn-in test circuit from dissipating power in a standby state, there is provided a sense control circuit for producing a short duration enable pulse in response to an input level of timing signals such as WCBR, CBR, or ROR, and a voltage sensor for sensing the input voltage level of the external power supply voltage during the short duration pulse. Also, the circuit includes a burn-in sensor which generates a signal output which determines set or reset of the burn-in test mode in response to the timing signals and the detected level of the voltage sensor. Since the voltage sensor is operated only when the short duration pulse is applied, the power consumption in the voltage sensor is negligible even during the sensing operation of the external supply voltage. Further, the burn-in test mode is activated in the memory device if the external input signals satisfy the particular condition and the level of the external supply voltage is higher than the preset burn-in test voltage, thereby the memory device is prevented from entering into the burn-in test mode due to noise of the external power supply voltage.
