摘要： An inexpensive fine resistor which do not require dimensional classifications of discrete substrates, eliminating a process of replacing a mask according to a dimensional ranking of each discrete substrate as in the prior art. The resistor includes discrete substrate made into pieces by dividing an insulated substrate sheet along a first slit dividing portion and a second dividing portion perpendicular to the first dividing portion; top electrode layer formed on a top face of discrete substrate; resistor layer formed such that a part of resistor layer overlaps top electrode layer; protective layers formed so as to cover resistor layer; side electrode layer formed on a side face of discrete substrate such that side electrode layer is electrically coupled to top electrode layer.

摘要： In an automatic transmission for an automotive vehicle, an operating area covered by a high gear ratio is extended toward low vehicle speed side and the high gear ratio is released in response to the opening degree of the throttle and vehicle speed. The high gear ratio is released when the vehicle speed value is lower than a predetermined vehicle speed value and the opening degree of the throttle is larger than a predetermined opening degree.

摘要： A lock-up control system for a lock-up type automatic transmission of an automotive vehicle.The lock-up control system functions to temporally release lock-up operation of a torque converter of the transmission upon occurrence of a gear shift signal even if the automotive vehicle is operating within any one of lock-up ranges. Gear shifting detector means generates a gear shift signal having a time duration which is variable corresponding to the time duration of a corresponding gear shifting operation. The duration of the gear shift signal generated by the gear shifting signal may also be variable also with the magnitude of engine load.

摘要： A continuously variable transmission includes a hydrodynamic device, such as a fluid coupling or a torque converter, having a lock-up clutch. The reduction ratio of the continuously variable transmission is controlled by a shift motor. The shift motor is controlled such that each of rotary positions thereof corresponds uniquely to a desired optimum reduction ratio. Upon detecting a state wherein a rapid down shift is needed, the lock-up clutch is temporarily disengaged to allow the hydrodynamic device to slip during the rapid down shift.

摘要： A function generator circuit is provided which generates a target engine revolution speed electric signal indicative of a target engine revolution speed which is a first predetermined function of an accelerator pedal stroke electric signal indicative of a depression degree of an accelerator pedal. There is also provided another function generator circuit which generates a target engine torque electric signal indicative of a target engine torque which is a second predetermined function of the accelerator pedal stroke electric signal. A comparator compares the actual and target engine revolution speed electric signals and generates a deviation signal indicative of a difference between these signals. A shift control varies a reduction ratio in the continuously variable transmission to vary the revolution speed of the engine in a direction to reduce the deviation signal. A fuel supply device is controlled in response to the target engine torque electric signal so as to supply a fuel enough for production of the target engine torque.

摘要： A lock-up control system for a lock-up type automatic transmission.A load detection circuit generates a reference acceleration signal that indicates a reference acceleration, and an actual acceleration signal that indicates an actual acceleration of an automotive vehicle. The circuit compares the actual acceleration signal with the reference acceleration signal for generating a first command signal when the actual acceleration signal is greater than the reference acceleration signal and generating a second command signal when the actual acceleration signal is smaller than the reference acceleration signal. The first command signal is fed to a first vehicle speed comparator means to render it operative. The second command signal is fed to a second vehicle comparator means to render same operative. Each of the first and second comparator means compares the vehicle speed signal with a set of reference vehicle speeds for generating a plurality of patterns of signals that indicate a corresponding plurality of lock-up ranges.
