    • In an working machine in which: an engine and a fuel tank for the engine are mounted on a machine body; an air cleaner mounted outside the machine body has a cleaner case including a cylindrical case body and a lid body being mounted on one end of the case body, and a cleaner element being housed in the cleaner case and dividing the inside of the cleaner case into a pre-purification chamber and a post-purification chamber; and an air-outlet pipe is connected to an intake system of the engine with an intake duct interposed therebetween, a canister capable of absorbing a vaporized fuel generated in the fuel tank is attached to the fuel tank or the machine body; a purge joint communicating with the post-purification chamber is provided to the lid body of the air cleaner; and a purge conduit extending from the canister is connected to the purge joint. Accordingly, it is possible to take a vaporized fuel generated in the fuel tank into the engine by utilizing the lid body of the air cleaner.

    • A tank cap includes: a synthetic-resin cap body (20) mounted on a fuel supply port cylinder (18) of a conductive fuel tank, (T); a conductive cap shell (22) coupled to an upper part of the cap body (20); and a gasket (23) provided in the cap body (20) and in close contact with a sealing surface (18a) of the fuel supply port cylinder (18). The cap body (20) and the cap shell (22) are linked to be mutually rotatable. A ratchet mechanism (35) is mounted between the cap shell (22) and the cap body (20). An elastic contact piece (38) elastically and slidably contacting an inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical peripheral wall (22a) of the cap shell (22) is integrally projectingly provided on an outer periphery of the gasket (23). Thus, it is possible to cause static electricity carried by an operator to escape to a fuel tank through the gasket.

The air-cleaner filter material for an internal combustion engine comprises a dust-collecting layer comprising a melt-blown nonwoven fabric having a maximum pore size of 100 μm or less and a dust-retaining layer arranged upstream of the dust-collecting layer and laminated integrally by heat fusion with, the dust-collecting layer, comprising a thermal-bond nonwoven fabric having fibers with two or more fiber diameters of 10 μm to 80 μm arranged in the order of increasing the ratio of the smaller fiber diameter in the direction from the upstream to downstream side, and having an average fiber diameter of 30 μm to 60 μm and a fiber areal weight of 80 to 300 g/m2, wherein the in-plane of the filter material has a portion 3 of high fiber density and a portion 4 of low fiber density, and the portion 3 of high fiber density occurs in a lattice pattern.
