    • A pedal unit including a four-bar parallelogram is made up of an upper retainer piece, a lower retainer bracket, with footplate attached and two roughly parallel arms, which are each rotatably mounted at one end on the upper retainer piece and at the other end on the lower retainer bracket. The pedal unit may rotate about a main bearing. An adjuster device for the adjustment of the footplate, predominantly in the X-direction, is provided.     • The invention relates to a method for producing articulated joints by assembling prefabricated parts, which comprise a pin defining an axis on which at least one articulated part having a bearing hole is to be pivotally mounted by means of a bearing bush. The parts are randomly delivered and, if required, automatically processed in a machine to assemble the joints. The region of the connection boss which surrounds the countersink, is significantly thicker in all cross-sectional planes than the more remote region which forms the wheel disk center or convex wheel disk. The region surrounding the countersink forms an integral unit with the more remote region. The region directly adjoining the countersink has the greatest thickness which continuously decreases radially outward as viewed from the axis of the countersink, and then merges in a rounded or tangential manner into the region which has a virtually constant thickness which corresponds substantially to the initial thickness of the round blank for the integral forming of the wheel disk center or convex wheel disk.
