摘要： A coating device for coating a coating solution on a web has a roller and a weir which partially constructs a solution store space. In the solution store space the coating solution is stored. When the web sequentially moves in a direction, the roller rotates and the solution in the solution store space is supplied on the web. Thereby a part of the solution overflows the weir such that another part of the solution may remain on the web to have a constant width in a widthwise direction of the web. A drying device has plural drying zones in which the web is fed after the coating of the coating solution. One of the drying zones is neighbored to the coating device. A top of the plural drying zones is constructed of a blow regulation member so as to confront to the solution on the web. The blow regulation member has holes through which is exhausted a gas evaporated from the layer of the solution on the web.

摘要： A method of winding a polymer film web around a cylindrical core, where the core is heated by blowing hot-air against the core prior to winding the polymer film web, and the polymer film web is wound around the heated core while blowing hot-air against the polymer film web. In another embodiment of the winding method, the polymer film is wound while knurled along both edge parts in the width direction of the film to form knurls so as to gradually decrease in the thickness thereof from one end of the film that contacts with the core toward the other end of the film. Furthermore, a heat treating method for annealing a film roll and a heat treating apparatus therefor are disclosed, which method comprises the steps of surrounding the film roll with heat insulating panels and blowing hot-air against the film roll in the direction along the core axis while rotating the core intermittently or continuously at a rotary speed of from 0.04 to 4 revolutions per hour.

A packing agent is applied to the knurled portions to enclose air at the time of winding in spaces between wound film layers and the film is put into an annealing isothermal chamber while contact between the wound film layers is prevented by the air. Preferably, the high-molecular film is made to pass through a heating zone just before the winding so that the high-molecular film after heated is wound up. More preferably, the winding core used for winding is a hollow porous winding core and high-temperature pressurized air is blown out onto the film through the hollow porous cylindrical surface. In a method of performing heat treatment on a wound roll film in which annealing treatment is performed on a roll film obtained by winding a high-molecular film, comprising the steps of: enclosing a winding portion of a device in a box; keeping the inside of the box at a high temperature equal to that of an annealing chamber; heating the high-molecular film to a temperature equal to the temperature of the inside of the box just before winding and then winding the high-molecular film; and conveying the high-molecular film into an isothermal chamber for annealing treatment.

The holding unit is comprised mainly of multiple pass rollers, a pass roller motor, a vacuum pump, and an up/down cylinder. As the unwinding of an old web comes to an end, a rod of the up/down cylinder extends, and the pass rollers of the holding unit abut against the old web. The pass roller rotates at lower speed than web transport speed, and during the transport, the old web is drawn onto the pass rollers by sucking of the pump. The old web is transported to the cutting and splicing unit with a position thereof being regulated by the holding means.
