    • [Object] An object of the present invention is to provide an extremely practical and innovative food product heat treatment method capable of performing the same heat cooking and heat sterilization as that of the conventional technique while enhancing economy and productivity in comparison with the conventional technique.[Means of Achievement] The food product heat treatment method is characterized in comprising placing a food product (2) in a hermetically sealed vessel (1) in which a prescribed vapor pressure is maintained or can be maintained; injecting a heating liquid heated by a heating source (8) to 100° C. or higher into a space in the hermetically sealed vessel (1) towards the food product; bringing the heating liquid injected in the hermetically sealed vessel (1) into contact with the food product (2), a food product package (3), or a cover body (4) of the food product (2) or food product package (3) rather than submerging the food product (2) in the heating liquid and performing heat treatment; and heat treating the food product (2) placed inside the hermetically sealed vessel (1), which is a hermetically sealed pressurized space, through heat of the heating liquid.

    • A process for producing a food enclosed in sealed containers which is free from a trouble during production that water spills from the containers or a perforating jig falls into the containers and in which a heat treatment can be conducted without causing quality unevenness. A food (1) is placed in containers (2). The containers (2) filled with the food (1) are sealed with a primary film (4) having a through-hole (3) to obtain a sealed-container-packed food (A). This sealed-container-packed food (A) is disposed in a heating vessel (7) having a steam inlet part (5) and a steam discharge part (6). Steam is introduced through the steam inlet part (5) into the heating vessel (7) to heat the sealed-container-packed food (A) while discharging the steam through the steam discharge part (6). Thereafter, a secondary film (8) is bonded to each container through the primary film (4) so as to cover the through-hole (3).

    • The guide bars of a warp knitting machine are automatically controlled in accordance with a desired pattern in synchronism with the rotation of a main shaft of the machine through control apparatus comprising a memory capable of storing information on a pattern of stitches to be formed, a control controlling rotation of the main shaft and giving instructions to the memory to produce a pattern signal for each course, a signal distributor receiving the pattern signals from the memory, and respective servo drive mechanisms for each guide bar and each including a servo motor. Responsive to the pattern signal from the signal distributor, each servo motor controls the length of linear movement of its associated guide bar. The signal distributor is a pulse distributor, and the pulses are effective to step the servo motors through predetermined angles of rotation with the rotation of each servo motor being converted into a corresponding linear displacement of an element for operating the associated guide bar.
