摘要： A tool for dismantling a locking ring consisting of an annular portion having a plurality of radially projecting circumferentially spaced locking tongues for supporting a bearing element such as a ring in an opening in a housing or the like. The annular portion of the locking ring seats against the axial end face of the bearing element and the tongues wedge against the sidewall of the housing at an angle. The dismantling tool comprises a generally disc-like member having a circumferential rib depending from one axial face thereof adapted to abut the annular portion of the locking ring radially inwardly of the locking tongues. An outer member overlies the disc-like member and has a depending flange closely circumscribing the outer sidewall of the disc member of a diameter slightly smaller than the opening in the housing. The outer member has a plurality of circumferentially spaced teeth with gripping elements adapted to engage through the spaces between tongues of the locking ring and upon rotation confront the back of the tongues and means for axially displacing the gripping member axially relative to the disc whereby the gripping elements of the teeth deform the tongues upwardly to release them from engagement with the sidewall of the opening in the housing.

The vessel is rotatable about a central vertically disposed axis through the hub portion. A plurality of equiangularly spaced partition walls extending between the hub portion and outer wall divides the nozzle into a plurality of chambers. An outlet opening is provided in each of the chambers; and a receiving mold at each outlet rotatable with nozzle receives the molding material by centrifugal force. A stationary supply tube means discharging into the pouring opening of the nozzle combined with rotation of the nozzle at a predetermined uniform rate ensures that substantially equal quantities of the molding material are dispensed to each of the molds located adjacent the outlet openings in the nozzle.

摘要： A commutator motor constructed and arranged to provide cooling and removal of carbon dust produced during operation. The motor comprises a housing, a stator consisting of a plurality of laminations embedded in the housing and defining at least a pair of circumferentially spaced yoke portions and pole portions intermediate the yoke portions. The rotor is rotatably supported in the stator cavity. The yoke portions are of a predetermined configuration defining first axial channels having inlet and outlet openings to facilitate flow of cooling medium through the channels in one direction. A commutator chamber is provided at one axial end of the rotor and separated from the rotor cavity by a circumferentially extending wall. A series of second axial channels are provided outboard of the pole portions communicating with the commutator chamber at one axial end and a fan is provided at the other end of the motor to circulate a cooling medium through the second channels and commutator chamber in an axial direction opposite the direction of flow of the cooling medium through the first channels.
