    • A tool for removing a spindle and/or elastomeric bearing from a hub generally includes a coupler, an arm, and a weight slidably engaged with the arm. The weight is slidable with respect to the arm along a predetermined stroke that limits the travel of the weight. The coupler may be secured to a spindle, which spindle is in turn secured to a bearing, or the coupler may be secured directly to the bearing. An operator may slide the weight between a first position adjacent the coupler and a second position opposite the coupler to impart kinetic energy to the spindle and/or bearing, thereby removing the bearing from or the bearing installing into a hub, depending on whether the kinetic energy is in an inboard or outboard direction.

The threaded rod possesses a joint end formed with a fixing surface, a resting portion located next to the joint end with no threads. The grip is bored with a first threaded hole, and a second threaded hole vertically communicating with the first threaded hole and engaged with a fixing screw pressing on the fixing surface. By using the tool to detach a bolt, it's not only a user's fingers won't be injured, but also the bolt can be smoothly and swiftly removed from a joint of a piston and a connecting rod.

To securely and concentrically attach the pretensioning device (1), centering bolts (3, 4, 5) are provided, which can be replaced with individual mounting bolts of the clutch cover (100) and which can be screwed stationarily into the mounting threads (90) of the driven plate (97) through the mounting holes (101) of the clutch cover (100). The centering bolts (3, 4, 5) engage adjusting slots (13, 14, 15) of the base plate (2). The slots extend radially in relation to the pressing screw (6), wherein the base plate (2) can be fixed to the centering bolts (3, 4, 5) in the axial direction via tightening nuts (16, 17, 18).
