    • A method for aging steel-making slag comprising the steps of charging normal temperature steel-making slag crushed to the extent that the slag having a grain diameter of 25 mm or less which constitutes 80% or more of the total amount into a pressure vessel which can be closed tight enough to seal a pressure substantially higher than atmosphere. The pressure vessel is closed and pressureized steam is supplied into the said vessel for heating the said pressure vessel and slag to raise the temperature and the pressure in the said pressure vessel while discharging condensed hot water. The interior of the vessel is kept under a condition saturated by steam and pressurized up to 2 to 10 kg/cm.sup.2 G for 1 to 5 hours. The pressure in the pressure vessel is reduced to be equalized with atmosphere. The steel-making slag is then discharged from the vessel. Apparatus is provided for carrying out the above process and includes a pressure vessel having an opening lid for charging and discharging steel-making slag. A steam generating apparatus connected via a pipe having a valve to upward of the pressure vessel. A pipe having a steam trap connected at the lower position of the pressure vessel so as to discharge hot water. A pipe having a valve connected to the upper portion of the pressure vessel and open to the atmosphere so as to reduce the pressure in the interior of the pressure vessel.

    • A device for restricting a movement of a sliding cover of a camera includes a photographing lens which is movable between a photographing position and a retracted position. A sliding cover is movable between fully-closed and photographing positions, at which the sliding cover covers the photographing lens when the photographing lens is at the retracted position and does not cover the photographing lens when the photographing lens is at the photographing position, respectively. A locking lever can move to a position at which it can engage a locking section of the sliding cover, when the sliding cover is at the fully-opened position. A lock releasing member is actuated when the photographing lens moves to the retracted position. An intermediate member is actuated by an actuating force of the lock releasing member. A clutch mechanism, provided between the locking lever and the intermediate member, rotatively moves the locking lever and the intermediate member together to a lock releasing position when a force applied to the locking lever is less than a predetermined value. The clutch mechanism allows the intermediate member to run idle relative to the locking lever when the force exceeds the predetermined value.

    • A mirror control apparatus 100; 200 for controlling a mirror 20 in a single lens reflex camera 10. The mirror 20 is supported for reciprocal rotation between a first position in a photographing light path POP and a second position out of the photographing light path POP. The mirror control apparatus 100; 200 comprises a drive mechanism 102; 202 and a brake mechanism 104; 204. The drive mechanism 102; 202 is operatively connected to the mirror 20 for applying drive power to the mirror 20 for rotation between the first and second positions. The brake mechanism 104; 204 is operatively connected to the mirror 20 for producing brake power which varies depending on at least one of factors affecting rotation of the mirror, the brake power serving as resistance against rotation of the mirror 20. Such factors include temperature in the camera 10 and orientation of the camera 10 relative to the gravity. Appropriate brake power may be always produced against rotation of the mirror in order to effectively avoid any harmful shocks to and bounces of the mirror under different conditions of the single lens reflex camera which may occur.
