摘要： A liquid crystal display includes a backlight assembly. The backlight assembly includes a light guide plate, a light source module which emits light to a side surface of the light guide plate, and a housing which accommodates the light guide plate and the light source module. The light source module includes a printed circuit board on which a plurality of a point light source is mounted, and a light source fixing board which supports the printed circuit board. The housing includes a bottom portion on which the light guide plate is placed, and a fixing portion which extends from an edge of the bottom portion. An extension portion of the light source fixing board, which is adjacent to a corner of the light guide plate, and an end of the fixing portion of the housing, are coupled to a reinforcing member.

The backlight includes a light source module emitting the light, a light guide plate (“LGP”) including edges and a middle portion, and a LGP support overlapping the edges of the LGP. The LGP support includes a plurality of LGP supporting pieces connected to each other so as to form a polygonal shape, each of the LGP supporting pieces including a LGP supporting portion including a LGP supporting surface overlapping the edges of the LGP, and the LGP supporting surfaces of each of the LGP supporting pieces of the LGP support are placed on a same plane. Opposing LGP supporting pieces are interconnected by an LCD module mounting member.

摘要： The light sourcing module of a backlit LCD display apparatus includes a light sources and power sources supporting substrate. The supporting substrate supports plural light sources on a top major surface thereof and at least one heat generating and power supplying circuit element that protrudes from a bottom major surface of the supporting substrate. The supporting substrate integrally includes wiring that couples driving power output by power supplying circuit element to the plural light sources. A rear receiving frame includes an integral heat-sinking and dissipating recess or groove that is positioned and dimensioned to receive the power supplying circuit element when the supporting substrate is received by the rear receiving frame. The integral heat-sinking and dissipating recess or groove removes heat from the heat generating and power supplying circuit element so that such heat does not adversely affect performance of the light sources.

摘要： A vibration speaker with facial plate has developed for delivering sound in a form of vibrational movement to a user's skin. The vibration speaker includes a voice coil to generate a magnetic force in response to application of a sound signal from an exterior, a magnet having a predetermined magnetic force to interact with the magnetic force from the voice coil, a basket to receive the magnet, a face plate to deliver upward and downward movement of the voice coil or the magnet to the user's skin, and a rear cover coupled to the face plate to constitute an appearance of the vibration speaker. The face plate is provided with a plate-shaped tensioner providing a predetermined tension for maintaining the face plate in a horizontal state to control upward and downward vibrational movement delivered from the vibration speaker.

In one embodiment, the backlight unit includes a plurality of light source blocks each of which includes a substrate having a light source and an electrode portion formed thereon; a connector electrically connecting the light source blocks to each other, coupled to the light source blocks in contact with one side of the connector, and fastening the light source blocks to each other by cross-coupling the light source blocks; and a supporter disposed on the other side of the connector. In this manner, LED blocks can be simultaneously both electrically and mechanically coupled, using a relatively small and simple number of connectors, facilitating reliability and ease of manufacture.
