摘要： An acrylic resin plastisol composition that forms coatings or molded articles having excellent anticreep property. The plastisol composition maintains excellent fluidity required for the coating and molding even after preserved for extended periods of time and further exhibits excellent gelation property upon heating, enabling the obtained coating or the molded article to exhibit excellent resistance against the relaxation of stress. The plastisol composition comprises a dispersing medium composed chiefly of a plasticizer and acrylic resin grains dispersed in said dispersing medium, wherein said acrylic resin grains have a functional group selected from the group consisting of carboxyl group, hydroxyl group, epoxy group, methylol group and etherified methylol group, and said dispersing medium contains a crosslinking agent that has reactivity to said functional group in a state of being at least partly solubilized in said dispersing medium.

摘要： Disclosed is a paint for a can which comprises an epoxy resin component formed by condensation of a dihydroxyl compound with an epihalohydrin and a curing agent component, said epoxy resin component containing terminal .alpha.-glycol groups at a concentration of 0.05 to 0.60 equivalent per Kg of the resin.This paint provides a coating capable of retaining a high adhesion even with the lapse of time and resisting a severe treatment such as retort sterilization.When this paint is applied to a bonded can, leakage of the content from the side seam with the lapse of time can be effectively prevented. When this paint is applied to a can provided with an easy-open can lid, occurrence of the enamel feather can be prevented at the time of opening the lid.

摘要： An object, such as a container cover, is lined on a predefined area of the object by depositing powder on the predefined area. The lining material is formed into a non-spherical powder having a resting angle of 40 degrees or greater. The powder is deposited by fluidizing the powder in a feeder using vibration and conveying the powder through a nozzle to the predefined area. The powder layer deposited on the object is pressed with a molding element to form a lining layer having the predefined shape. The lining thus formed has a predefined thickness distribution and shape with good tightening and sealing properties and corrosion resistance. In addition, no environmentally unsafe processes are required for the precise deposition of powder.

摘要： An adhesion structure in which the gel of an acrylic plastisol is strongly adhered to the metallic base material, featuring excellent resistance against corrosion and exhibiting small whitening tendency even under severe conditions for treatment with hot water such as retort processing, and a method of producing the same structure. The acrylic plastisol is applied onto the metallic base material or onto the metallic base material having an organic coating provided with a layer of a thermosetting resin which contains a bisphenol-type epoxy resin and a phenolic resin at a weight ratio of from 99:1 to 85:15, and is gelled by heating and is, at the same time, adhered to the base material via the thermosetting resin layer. The acrylic plastisol is gelled and is strongly adhered onto the thermosetting resin layer within short periods of time. The obtained adhesion structure exhibits excellent resistance against peeling, corrosion and retorting.

摘要： Disclosed is a thickness-reduced deep-draw-formed can formed of a metal plate having an organic coating. In this can, at least the inner surface organic coating is composed of a crystalline thermoplastic resin, the thickness of the barrel wall is made smaller than the thickness of the bottom, the thermoplastic resin of the barrel wall is molecularly oriented mainly in the axial direction, and the roughness of the metal surface of the barrel wall is larger than that of the metal surface of the bottom. Since the organic coating is crystalline and is molecularly oriented, the coating can resist processing deformation when the thickness is reduced by deep-draw forming and the coating is not damaged by a tool or the like at all, and therefore, the barrier property to corrosive components and the heat resistance are prominently improved.

摘要： Disclosed is a packing can having a circumferential polyhedral wall formed on a can barrel, in which as compared with boundary ridgelines of structural unit faces of the polyhedral wall and crossing points of these boundary ridgelines, the structural unit faces are convex to the interior of the can and the structural unit faces are arranged so that adjacent rows of structural unit faces have a phase difference in the axial direction of the can. This packing can has a very high strength against deformation by application of the external pressure. Furthermore, in preparing this packing can, damage of a coating layer formed on a metal sheet used as the can barrel blank can be effectively prevented.
