摘要： The disclosure concerns a filter assembly adapted for use with a wide mouth carboy in the field of home brewing, and home brewing kits comprising the same. The filter assembly generally includes a carboy lid adapted to engage a fermentation carboy, a mesh filter tube extending from a bottom side of the carboy lid, wherein through an aperture of the lid and into the volume within the mesh filter tube is defined a mesh cavity. Materials can be introduced into the mesh cavity for brewing applications. An agitation probe forms part of the home brewing kit and is used for: (i) agitating the materials within the mesh cavity during a brewing process; (ii) pressing the materials to extract fluids therefrom; or (iii) a combination thereof.

摘要： The invention relates in part to the discovery that certain CRAMs, such as schweinfurthin A, target OSBPs (a family of oxysterol binding proteins). Because OSBPs have been shown to be integral to atherosclerosis and Alzheimer's disease (AD), one aspect of the invention relates to the use of CRAMs, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, biologically active metabolite, solvate, hydrate, prodrug, enantiomer or stereoisomer thereof, in the treatment and/or prevention of atherosclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Another aspect of the invention relates to novel derivatives of CRAMs, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, biologically active metabolite, solvate, hydrate, prodrug, enantiomer or stereoisomer thereof, for the treatment and/or prevention of atherosclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Another aspect of the invention relates to the use of an immobilized CRAMs, such as OSW-I, to aid in screening of compounds to identify additional OSBP binders. Other aspects of the invention relate to the use of CRAMs to treat cancer, such as p21-deficient cancers.

摘要： An intraoral imaging system includes a receiving module that communicates with an imaging display device. The imaging device includes handle having a transmitter module and a power source as well as neck and head portions that extend from the handle. The device includes a camera module that rotates in the distal and proximal direction to view and process still images and video. The camera module includes a movable image sensor to provide focus capability. The imaging device further includes a control assembly having a plurality of control members. The control assembly includes image capture controls that an operator engages in a lateral motion to capture images or video. A focus control member controls the spatial relationship between the image sensor and the stationary lens and an articulation control member to articulate the camera module to provide a greater range of imaging.
