摘要： A hospital bed having foot egress, including a foot section with a pair of foot panels that can pivot upward and be locked into place to provide a support structure for standing and ambulation Each of the pair of foot section panels can include a grab handle for assistance in standing. The foot end of the frame of the bed includes a retractable crossbar which supports the foot panels, and which can be reversibly retracted towards the middle of the bed frame and beneath the seat section of the bed to provide a clearing at the distal foot end of the bed for the patient to stand and exit the bed safely and efficiently. In one embodiment, the foot panels are each supported by their own support bar, each of which can be reversibly retracted laterally towards the lateral rails to expose the clearing.

摘要： A knee cushion is disclosed which includes an integral foam member having a first major surface, an oppositely aligned second major surface, at least one side wall joining the first major surface to the second major surface. Leg depressions are formed in both the first and second major surfaces. The leg depressions are arranged in the shape of a modified peace symbol. The leg depressions permit a person to position the knee cushion between their knees while sleeping on their side to assist in aligning their hips and for keeping their spine straight. The integral foam member also includes a circular depression located in a central portion of the modified peace symbol on both the first and second major surfaces. Lastly the integral foam member has an Indentation Force Deflection at 25% of from between about 8 pounds-force to about 18 pounds-force.

摘要： The multifunctional care device comprises a first functional part, a second functional part and a third functional part. The first functional part and the second functional part may be combined into a combined part for use according to use requirements. The combined part may be used in cooperation with the third functional part. The second functional part comprises a second main body frame and a supporting rod, wherein the second main body frame comprises three movable plates which are connected in sequence, and every two adjacent movable plates are rotatable. The third functional part comprises a front frame, a rear frame, a connecting frame, an upper frame and driving devices. The upper frame is arranged above the front frame and the rear frame. Guide rails that extend horizontally are arranged on the inner side of the connecting frame. The first functional part of the present invention can be combined with the second functional part to form an assembly with a wheelchair function, and, according to the needs of use, the assembly can be used in conjunction with the third functional part to perform active stretching and positioning for the user. An articulation system coupled to the deck moves the sections. A lift mechanism moves the deck relative to the base between lift configurations including an egress lift configuration. An egress input is arranged for actuation by a user. A bed detection system monitors data associated with the patient support apparatus and communicates with a remote station. A controller interrupts communication of the bed detection system with the remote station, drives the articulation system to move the sections to the egress deck configuration, and drives the lift mechanism to move the support frame to the egress lift configuration in response to actuation of the egress input.
