摘要： A method of supplying a portable medical gas system is provided. The disclosed method includes preparing a portable medical gas system, the portable medical gas system including a cylinder adapted to be filled with medical gas and a gas dispensing valve. The portable medical gas system is place in a specialized container having a configuration adapted to hold the portable medical gas system only when the cylinder of portable medical gas system is unused state or empty state. The portable medical gas system is delivered to the customer, and returned as an empty cylinder via commercial carrier. Upon receipt of the empty or spent portable medical gas system, another portable medical gas system filled with medical gas is sent to the customer. In one embodiment, the portable medical gas system includes a single-use flow control valve which ensures the cylinder is empty after its initial use.

摘要： A jump liner for a push-pull MIG welding torch includes an elongated tubular body having front and back ends. The tubular body is made of a flexible plastic material. A front adapter is disposed at the front end of the tubular body. The front adapter is fittable in a retaining head of the torch. A back adapter is disposed at the back end of the tubular body. The back adapter is fittable in a gooseneck or body block of the welding torch. The front adapter provides sealing between the jump liner and the retaining head to prevent back flow leakage of shielding gas, and the front adapter prevents deformation of the tubular body at elevated temperatures. The back adapter provides sealing between the jump liner and the gooseneck or body block.

摘要： A medical gas cylinder system is provided that includes a gas cylinder, a gas dispensing mechanism for dispensing the medical gas from the gas cylinder, a flow control valve operatively disposed in the dispensing mechanism and adapted to initiate a flow of medical gas from the gas cylinder upon actuation, and a cylinder contents gauge adapted to indicate the status of medical gas within the gas cylinder. The flow control valve includes a setting to ensure the gas contents of cylinder are evacuated prior to return shipment. The disclosed system further includes a shipping container having a configuration adapted to hold the gas cylinder and dispensing mechanism and having one or more transparent surfaces or windows such that the cylinder contents gauge or other cylinder status indication is visible when the gas cylinder and dispensing mechanism are placed in the container. The gas cylinder and container are suitable for shipment via commercial carrier.

摘要： A valve assembly has an outer body with an internal passageway for gas containing a valve seat and a valve member which can be lifted from the valve seat by rearward pressure. An inner body is threaded in the passageway, and itself includes an internal passage and a plunger within the passage. The plunger has a forward hollow sleeve portion and two arms extending rearwardly at diametrally opposite positions, the arms being linked at their rearward ends by a bridge from which extends an activating member adapted to hold the valve member away from the valve seat. The plunger has a sealing member forwardly of the activating member for closing the internal passage when the plunger is in a forward position. The inner body has two opposed grooves to receiving the arms, thus interlocking the plunger and the inner body so that rotation of the one requires rotation of the other. The bridge portion can be engaged by a forked tool for rotating it.
