摘要： A supervisory system controller for controlling and monitoring the generation of electrical energy from renewable sources and management methods for the storage of energy so generated and interconnecting the energy-generating elements, storage and load. The supervisory system controller operates to maximum the power transfer from a wind turbine to a battery by automatically varying the threshold levels at which turbine dump loads are switched based on system inputs and measurements. The method conserves generator fuel by delaying a scheduled generator maintenance running period such that it occurs when renewable energy availability is predicted to be low and battery is in a reduced state of charge. Further modifications and management methods are also provided.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a fluid dispensing assembly for operable coupling to a fluid supply. The fluid dispensing assembly has an adjustable guide spaced apart from a second end region for guiding the correct placement of the second end region relative a target such that the fluid is dispensed for adequate coverage of the target. The adjustable guide is permitted to selectively and reversibly engage with a locating formation in predetermined position such that an Associate is able to assume an ergonomically-friendly body posture during use. As such, the adjustable guide aims to provide an Associate with a means to dispense fluid at a target at the correct distance and angle relative the target while maintaining their body posture in an ergonomically-friendly position. By utilizing the adjustable guide, the Associate is able to adjust the guide such that a right-hand dominant Associate may address the target in an ergonomically-friendly body position which would otherwise be an ergonomically-friendly body posture for a left-hand dominant Associate and vise versa.

摘要： The invention concerns sol-gel techniques for making PZT-type ceramics having a perovskite-type structure and ferrite ceramics having a spinel-type structure. Colloidal hydrated oxide sols are mixed with metal salt solutions in the required concentration and the mixed sols dehydrated to form homogeneous gels which are fired at 250.degree. C.-650.degree. C., pressed and sintered at 900.degree.-1300.degree. C. The resulting ceramics include PZT4, PZT5 and lithium ferrites. These have excellent homogeneity, small grain size, high density and improved electrical properties, particularly low dielectric loss, compared with known ceramics of similar composition.
