    • A semiconductor device suppresses short-circuit failure between a selection gate electrode and a control gate electrode while shortening the distance between the upper portions of the selection gate electrode and the control gate electrode. The device includes an impurity region formed on both sides of a channel region of a semiconductor substrate; a selection gate electrode on the channel region via a gate insulating film; a control gate electrode in the shape of sidewall via a gate isolation insulating film on both side surfaces of the selection gate electrode and on the surface of the channel region; a protective insulating film covering the sidewall of the control gate electrode; and a silicide layer on the selection gate electrode. The protective insulating film is a two-layer structure of a silicon nitride film covering the sidewall of the control gate electrode and a silicon oxide film covering the silicon nitride film.

    • Provided is a vehicle suspension member assembly suitable for a multi-link type rear suspension system. The suspension member assembly includes a pair of front and rear cross members and a pair of side members which are joined to constitute a generally rectangular suspension member subassembly. A pair of rear resilient supports are disposed at the opposite longitudinal end portions of the rear cross member. A pair of front resilient supports are disposed at the front end portions of the side members. The rear ends of the side members are attached to the front surface of the rear cross member. The front cross member is disposed between the side members and have opposite longitudinal ends attached to the inner side surfaces of the side members. To the rear cross members are provided a pair of brackets by means of which a rear connecting portion of a lower link is attached to the suspension member assembly.

    • A rear wheel suspension arrangement for an automotive vehicle provides an axle housing rotatably mounting rear vehicular road wheels, each of the wheels having a wheel center. At each wheel, a radius rod which extends forwardly and inwardly, as viewed in a normal forward direction of the vehicle, is connected to the axle housing at a first articulated connection at a position lower than the wheel center. Further, a front lateral link, extending generally transversely to the forward direction of the vehicle is connected to the axle housing at a second articulated connection also located below the wheel center. In addition, a rear lateral link, positioned rearwardly of the front lateral link and extending in the traverse direction of the vehicle, is connected to the axle housing at a third articulated connection also located below the wheel center. The suspension structure also includes an upper arm having an articulated connection to the axle housing at a position above the wheel center. A coil spring is disposed between a lower side of a vehicle body and an upper surface of the rear lateral link, while a shock absorber having a coaxially mounted bump rubber provided at an upper side thereof is connected at an upper end thereof to the vehicle body and at a lower end thereof to a fourth articulated connection at an upper side of the axle housing.

    • The photocurable organopolysiloxane composition is curable by irradiation with ultraviolet light into a rubbery elastomer which is excellently adhesive to the surface of the substrate on which it has been cured. The composition comprises an organopolysiloxane having, in a molecule, at least one acryloxy-functional group represented by the general formula[CH.sub.2 .dbd.CR.sup.1 --CO--O--(CH.sub.2).sub.a --SiR.sub.2 --O--].sub.b (R).sub.3-b Si--R.sup.2 --,in which R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, each R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R.sup.2 is an oxygen atom or a divalent hydrocarbon group and each of the subscripts a and b is 1, 2 or 3, as the principal ingredient together with an acryloxy-containing trialkoxy silane represented by the general formula(R.sup.3 O).sub.3 Si--R.sup.4 --(NH--CO--O--R.sup.4).sub.c --O--CO--CR.sup.1 .dbd.CH.sub.2,in which each R.sup.3 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, each R.sup.4 is a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R.sup.1 has the same meaning as defined above and the subscript c is zero or 1, acrylic or methacrylic acid and a photosensitizer.
