摘要： The invention relates to a method and apparatus for the objective detection of auditive disorders, by recording arising potentials of a steady state with simultaneous acoustic stimulation via the bones or the airway to be used in newborns. The apparatus comprises the necessary means for the independent generation of two different sound stimuli presented to the subject simultaneously via osseous and airway electroacoustic transducers, the synchronous recording of the cerebral electrical activity of the subject, the continuous evaluation of the contact of the electrodes, the interactive measurement of the levels of ambient noise, and the wireless digital transmission of the bioelectric activity towards a computer. The method according to the invention statistically processes and detects the potentials provoked by the osseous-airway stimulation, automatically providing a categorical final result, according to the presence or absence of the auditive sensitivity disorders, the type of disorder (conductive or sensorineural), and the validity of the result.

摘要： Multimetallic anionic clays (MACs) are prepared using economical raw materials or reactants and a procedure for obtaining a series of multimetallic mixed oxides derived from the thermal decomposition of the MACs which comprises: (1) dissolving water-soluble bimetallic and/or trimetallic sources in water, (2) dispersing and homogenizing separate water-insoluble divalent and/or trivalent metal precursors with a high-speed stirrer in order to obtain small and reactive particles; depending on the nature of the water-insoluble divalent and/or trivalent metal precursors, this process can be adjusted to a desired pH, (3) adding the suspension obtained in (2) to solution (1) with the reaction medium still dispersed to facilitate solid particle's reduction/dissociation, and (4) afterwards the slurry is aged for several hours and finally dried. This process enables raw materials or reactants to be easily handled, and eliminates unit operations involving product washing and/or purification steps.

摘要： A control circuit for a vehicle for, e.g., chassis leveling or other purposes includes a controller selectively sending drive signals to a load through a switch FET, and a BJT having a collector connected between the switch FET, an emitter connected to ground, and a base connected to a current view resistor for short circuit protection. An over power protection FET is connected to the controller and to the base of the short circuit protection transistor, with the gate of the over power protection FET being connected to the output of the switch FET. A time delay capacitor is connected from the base of the BJT to ground. With this structure, if a ground fault causes the BJT to turn on, and if the drain-source voltage of the switch FET exceeds the gate threshold voltage of the overpower protection FET, the overpower protection FET is turned on, resulting in turning off the switch FET and, hence, avoidance of high power draw through the switch FET.

摘要： A method of electrochemically surface-treating carbon fibers, fibers treated by the method, and composite materials including such fibers. The method consists in positively polarizing fibers relative to a cathode in an aqueous solution of an electrolyte constituted by a weak amino base. Nitrogen-containing groups are thus fixed to the surface of the fibers thereby improving the adhesion of the fibers to the resin in a composite material constituted by carbon fibers embedded in a synthetic resin matrix.
