摘要： A cable brake system for deployments of cable comprising: a frame configured to be mounted on a ship; a repeater supporting track mounted longitudinally to the frame, the supporting track being configured for slidingly supporting a plurality of repeaters; a spool positioned exterior to the frame, the spool having the cable wrapped therearound and being capable of supplying the cable to an interior of the frame; at least one planar surface on an interior of the frame, the planar surface being positioned approximately parallel to the repeater supporting track; and a plurality of brake sub-assemblies being supported by the planar surface in a manner so as to establish a serpentine path for the cable and to impart variable frictional resistance to the cable.

摘要： Format processing systems for converting the format of a document are disclosed. In this regard, a representative document processing system includes a file conversion system configured to receive information corresponding to a first document as well as receive information corresponding to a second format to which the information corresponding to the first document is to be converted. Additionally, the file conversion system is configured to retrieve information corresponding to a set of format rules, the set of format rules corresponding to the second format. The file conversion system converts the information corresponding to the first document to image data having at least one object group. Thereafter, the file conversion system converts the image data to converted data representative of the first document and exhibiting the second format. Methods and other systems also are provided.

摘要： A method and system is provided for dynamically controlling access to configuration attributes for a printing device. The method includes the operation of receiving a request for the printing device's configuration attributes at the printing device. The request is received from a requesting device. Another operation in determining a printing device's configuration attributes involves making a run-time determination of configuration attributes supported by the printing device. Once the configuration attributes supported by the printing device are determined, markup language code associated with these configuration attributes can be identified. Further, the present invention includes the operation of transmitting the markup language code that is associated with the configuration attributes supported by the printing device to the requesting device.
