    • The present invention relates to an irradiation device for material test using a gamma ray radiated from a spent nuclear fuel assembly and provides the irradiation device for material test using a gamma ray radiated from a spent nuclear fuel assembly wherein an irradiation device for material test to achieve a radiation effect evaluation is manufactured to be movable upward, downward and horizontally in order to study the hardening phenomenon of the frail materials to the radiation among the atomic power facilities using a gamma ray radiated from a spent nuclear fuel assembly, thereby it is possible to adjust a position of the spent nuclear fuel used for material test using a gamma ray radiated from a spent nuclear fuel and a test material, identify a distance between the spent nuclear fuel and the test material easily with a scale and evaluate the radiation effects on the materials used at facilities handling a spent nuclear fuel under the same situation as they are really exposed. Further the present invention comprises a support constructed vertically; a vertical moving table which is capable of moving upward and downward connected with a proper position of the support; a moving device for moving said vertical moving table upward and downward; a horizontal moving table which is capable of moving horizontally placed on the vertical moving table; a horizontal moving bar which is capable of moving horizontally placed on the vertical moving table; and a driving device for driving the horizontal moving table and the horizontal moving bar horizontally.

    • A system applicable to a bridge transporter telescopic servomanipulator, is provided. The bridge transporter telescopic servomanipulator is used for performing operation and maintenance of process equipments in a working environment having a possibility of radiation exposure. The coupling/decoupling device includes a first coupling plate and a second coupling plate, the first coupling plate being provided on a lower portion of the telescopic transfer device, and the second coupling plate being provided on an upper portion of the servomanipulator. While coupling protrusions are inserted into coupling holes being formed on the first coupling plate, position and orientation between a master servomanipulator and a slave servomanipulator correspond to each other, and the servomanipulator can be coupled with the telescopic transfer device since the coupling protrusions are fixed by rotating a rotation plate being provided on the second coupling plate.

    • A fuel rod extracting machine which can extract the fuel rods one by one from a Korean type 17×17 Light Water Reactor fuel assembly comprises a multi-functional rotary head including a camera for measuring the positions of the fuel rods and securing nuts being fastened on the bottom end piece of fuel assembly, an impact wrench for unfastening the securing nuts, and a gripper for gripping and extracting the fuel rods one by one. All of these are installed on a single rotary disc, which is driven by a tool rotating motor, at intervals of 90 degrees. To improve the reliability and safety in using the multi-functional rotary head, a load cell and a remote compliance center are installed at the rear of the gripper. The load cell monitors a state of insertion of the fuel rod into a collet and measures a fuel rod extracting force. The remote compliance center provides the smooth insertion of the fuel rod onto the collet, even though there exists a small misalignment between them.

    • A centrifugal extractor for extraction of an organic phase from a liquid mixture, such as liquid radioactive wastes, is disclosed. In the centrifugal extractor, both the separating weir and the divert disk are designed to be adjustable in their vertical positions. The extractor, thus, desirably separates the organic phase, including usable elements in addition to chemically toxic high radioactive elements, from the aqueous phase and desirably controls the reaction time of the two phases regardless of a variation of the mixing ratio and the rotational speed of the two phases. In the centrifugal extractor, a liquid suction and rotation unit sucks and rotates the liquid mixture and separates the organic phase from the aqueous phase while controlling the reaction time of the two phases. A height-adjustable separation weir unit is designed to locate the separating weir at a boundary layer between the two separated phases. A housing unit supports the suction and rotation unit and provides the path of two separated phases to the outside of the extractor.

The swing angle of the rope or cable is determined from the distance between the laser displacement sensors and the laser reflecting plates.
