摘要： An inhaler with a mixing channel (1) for producing an aerosol to be inhaled includes an outlet (9) at one end that can be inserted in the mouth of a person in order to inhale the aerosol that is produced; at least one inlet (3) at its other end for drawing air into the mixing channel (1); and at least one injection zone (6) that lies between the inlet (3) and the outlet (9) and forms part of the channel wall. The injection zone (6) has at least one nozzle orifice (10) for supplying a liquid, especially a liquid drug, wherein the inner surface of the injection zone (6) is largely flush at least with that portion of the mean surface curvature (22) of the inner surface of the channel wall (11) that is adjacent to it on the inlet end. A possible height difference (17) between the inner surface of the injection zone (6) and that portion of the mean surface curvature (22) of the inner surface of the channel wall (11) that is adjacent to it is less than 1 mm or at most 100 μm or at most 20 μm.

摘要： A method of manufacturing an atomising body for an atomising device includes the steps of providing a support element having a first layer on a first surface of the support element and a second layer on a second surface of the support element, the first layer including a first perforated membrane and the second layer comprising a process orifice, etching a cavity through the support element, the cavity forming a fluid connection from the process orifice to the perforated membrane, by providing etching substance to the process orifice. The atomising body as obtained may advantageously be applied in an atomising device or an inhaler.

摘要： An atomizing device, includes an atomizing body (1) with an inlet (16) for receiving a fluid under increased pressure, and with at least one set of outflow ports (18) for allowing the fluid to escape on a delivery side with forming of a vapour. Imaginary central axes of the outflow ports directed in a flow direction herein enclose a mutual angle (α) in order to intersect each other at an intersection (S). The atomizing body includes a roof (21) and a bottom (11 which extend over at least a first distance (d1) beyond the set of outflow ports (18) and bound a vaporizing space (17) on either side. The intersection (S) of the imaginary central axes of the outflow ports lies at a second distance (d2) from the set of outflow ports, wherein the second distance (d2) is greater than the first distance (d1) and extends beyond the vaporizing space.
